I can totally understand Aaron, I actually got expelled from school for the same reason Aaron is facing time. It is truly terrifying to feel that way. I was scared of everyone and the guy I hit was less forgiving than Jackson is.
@HigherC In other words, watching Luke and Noah competed with watching paint dry? Does it say something about the two shows, that I find Aaron's story more compelling, even though, unlike Luke and Noah, he doesn't have a partner? Heavens, if Aaron ever gets over his homophobia and actually finds a partner, I hope the writers won't dodge the opportunities for a real love story the way the writers on Luke and Noah did. My unsolicited 2 cents.
@sniffboo Danny Miller has said that Aaron's character wont change simply because some people know he is gay. He has always been an angsty teenage badass... I dont suspect that will ever change :D
@HigherC Adam sets an example for how viewers who care about Aaron can respond. Of course, some viewers are not going to follow Adam's example. And recently even Adam has as much as said he's losing patience. Maybe the writers will listen to Adam, since they put the words in his mouth. :-)
Chas and Paddy need to stop with the guilt trip. Nobody should be forced to out themselves if they are not ready. I understand it will help his case, but I just find it sad that he's basically being told to stay out of jail tell them your Gay. I dont like it when people are forced to tell people before they are ready 😢
@sniffboo I don't think I would be any sweeter if I was in his situation - hell- I'm that much trouble without it. Denying help and being irrational is all a part of having emotional troubles
I thank the person for posting Emmerdale because I don't live in the UK and I like the Aaron storyline. However, I find the Aaron character unlikable he just seems very arrogant, rude, and obnoxious. I understand Aaron is struggling with his sexuality BUT he just seems so cold and unfriendly.
@Merima1978 By now I'd say talk of Aaron & Adam being a great couple is beating a dead horse. Aaron is gay. Adam is straight. They make great mates (i.e., friends).
Aaron is being an ass, but few of us can imagine the issues he's wading through. And these folks, if you aren't sharing every personal thought and feeling every hour of the day, your shutting them out. He was never much of a talker was he?
