Thank you for being one of the only folks out there who actually show how those halos get mounted up with the Morimoto combination.. Doing the same mod this weekend and you helped a ton! Thank you for making this!
Fritzie D. RosePuppy of course brother! I had a hard time figuring how to mount these with the lack of videos online so I’m glad I could help it out with people who want to do these mods such as yourself! Hope all goes smoothly with your installation! Lmk how it turns out! Dm me some photos on my ig! (Listed in the description) also feel free to ask questions if you want any help!
@@RiceyRicky The only difference being with the STi, and the LED 2017 Limited headlights I have, it's a little different. I'm almost done with installing tonight, but there are some major differences. I really wish Subispeed would have stated that on the LED headlights I have, it'll require a LOT more custom drilling for the C-lights. The hole is not large enough for the 4-pin connector at all. Otherwise, the drilling so far went good, though I'm going to use fishing line vs. solder. I'm going to drill out the little tap points and hold in with the line. You are VERY much correct in the filing down of the inner ring for the glue/wires though! I did more of an angled thing, but as long as the ring is flush after tightening, I think it will be ok! Just finished with the painting of everything too, and working on the drying right now. Will put the lights together tomorrow I think after letting everything dry proper. If curious, here is what the STi looks like disassembled to the components: twitter.com/Fritzie_pup/status/1205981509812981762/photo/2 And here is partly so far where as of tonight I'm at with painting: twitter.com/Zelus_PurPuppy/status/1206044302197084160/photo/1 We'll see how I feel in a bit, I wanna do a bit more yet tonight, but DAMN the colour pops!
@@RiceyRicky I wish I could say I had an IG or anything like that, but I do have a public Twitter where I posted the 'after' pics if you want to look! Well, I did get pretty much everything done, and damn.. It's a TON of wiring, ain't no joke. I actually put the BT module inside the battery housing, and used the added hole to pull the 2 channels of RGB through the underside and keep it all clean. I then ziptied all 4 modules (Ring/C-Light) together into a tight package, and mounted it just in front of the battery in the space there by the wiper fill tank. I have a lot of open space there thank goodness. I did have to add about 3' of wire to both passenger side modules for the turn signal, but that was no big deal. T-taps are your friend here. And for anyone reading this, I am tellin' ya.. GET THE SUBISPEED DRL HARNESS. It's a full fused bus for you to use on anything you want to add, and makes things SO much easier for future installs. (And no, they ain't paying me for saying this, I'm that gratefull that exists, or you'd be running wires everyone for a build like this). After all is said and done (minus wiring the new bezels I have to still do), the C/Rings work. However, I can't seem to get the App to connect to the BT module yet. I'll have to putz with it a bit more. Here's what it looks like though! Donald L no mine were only regular halogen lights, no led. I put a new HID kit and it’s extremely bright, much much brighter with the c-lights and halo’s and visibility improved like crazy
Yeah. Wanted to see if I did some of the modifications to my headlight would work given that it looks like the Steering Responsive Kit means the light housing is different. If you don’t mind, can I email you? I’m from Boston too and some of the stuff you have done is really cool, and lights are great but wheels and rims are next in preparation for upcoming winter.
hey man, great video. judt did the conversion but how do I get rid of the old halogen lights that were inside the c light? and also how do you wire in the switchback turn signal? their instructions are super unclear haha
Deamon Eyes are just a small LED that shines into the halogen bulbs reflector. It does not effect your headlights at all. Though, when your low or high beams are on the demon eyes will probably not show very well. It’s more of a daytime running light thing or the car is parked at a car meet to show off.
Dude! Excellent work!
I've been shopping for these for a long time and I think I'm sold!!
5:55 damn near stabbed his eye out lmao
Did you only need one bluetooth device for both c light and halo?
Yes just one

Fritzie D. RosePuppy looks awesome!!!
Thanks bro I got the same kit and didn’t know how to do it
Did your car come with the LED steering responsive headlights? Wanted to see if it impacted your parts and installation.

subispeed website has all the correct parts and measurements! just go to the lighting section of the website
Why couldn’t you splice?
Do you have a tutorial video on how to do this step by step ? I need help and I really wanna do this

Hey @riceyricky do your regular headlights still work? i have HID's but im wondering if installing demon eyes gets rid of the HID Lights?

I'm trying to do some mods to my wrx and cant find these lights anywhere where did you buy them?
Devin Wilson subispeed

Where did you get those item
Alvin Gutierrez Subispeed
Damn, car is starting to look amazing!!!
Kenderson Ung thanks bro!!! 💪
Good demo
Can I just get the ring itself ?
Your using your drill and impact gun backwards lol. Drill is for drilling and impact is for screws
This is the worst wiring job I’ve seen, unbolt the radiator and put it under the support beam.
