Hi Bob and Jenny, hope you are feeling better soon. It’s a lovely site. The scenery was lovely on the drive to Ben Nevis. The river on the campsite is lovely. Nice walk for Poppy. Wow the washing machines are huge. Shame about the the emptying point on the pitch. Take care xx
Absolutely love the journeys and Scotland is amazing. Thanks for sharing your trips and I will remain loyal and watch every one of your excellent vlogs/videos. Thanks Bob, Jenny and Poppy
Pleased both of you are feeling better now, Fort William and Ben Nevis are amazing, we were their a few years ago, keep well, have fun, lookinf forward to the next video, Perrin & Marilyn. 😊
Hi, bob, jenny & poppy, I hope you feel better soon. Nothing worse than feeling rough on holiday. The site looks lovely, I hope you ha very a lovely time. Lots of love . Linda xx ❤
Glad both you are better. Beautiful country and site, love the dog pack. My camper van is finally going in to be fixed on Friday so hopefully all goes well and Coco and I can get back on the road very soon.
Used to drive the length of the old A9 every month in the late seventies/early eighties it was a slog until the upgrades, now it’s a peach all the way to Perth and then Edinburgh, about half the travel time.
We had 2 nights there a couple of weeks ago and pretty much had a similar experience. I had to shuffle the van about to get it as level as possible .... we were on pitch 5, so nearer the generator noise. I think the site is work in progress at the moment judging by the works going on but overall a good couple of days there.
Weather permitting (looking at the UK forecast to see which part is going to have the best) we'll be heading to Scotland next Friday 29th Sept. If weather down south looks like it's going to shine we'll be heading south lol. Thanks for posting your video's they're very informative.
A few niggles with the site but all adds to the experience. Overall conclusion seemed to be that it’s good value with reasonable facilities. We like the laundry idea with a text message when it’s finished 🙂 Trev n Sue
Interesting to see inside the site , as I’m from Fort William and walk and drive past the entrance all the time as my wife works in the High School along the road . I think the park got taken over quite recently and the name got changed from Lochy .
I’m enjoying watching your trip in Scotland. There is no better scenery anywhere. We can sometimes get four seasons of weather in one day though! That doesn’t take away from the natural beauty though. That’s a lovely site you’re at now, it looks like a nice location. I hope you have a great stay. How are you finding the Bailey Adamo ? It certainly looks like a lovely motor home. All the best Bob,Jenny and Poppy.
We were on the Glen Nevis site over the Coronation BH weekend. As we were there for 4 nights we had a service pitch and it was nice and level. The site was very busy and very big and we had fabulous views of Ben Nevis and other mountains all round us. Our only issue was some European caravanners arrived on the pitch next to us mid way through the weekend and proceeded to park right up against the narrow grass area between there hardstanding pitch and ours. Unfortunately that evening, they opened all there windows wide in the caravan and started making dinner very late in the evening, talking loudly, which continued on way past midnight. It was turned 2am when they finally shut the windows and went to bed. Thankfully we were leaving the next morning. Otherwise it was a good site, we'd definitely use it again if we were in the Fort William area again and looking for a site. Hope your both soon feeling better.
I was thinking it was a good job you pulled in before the caravan behind you did, hope got out ok. Strange they don't want the toilet block filmed, it could help them get more interested if we saw it first, like you said it was nice.
Hi Bob, watch your review video on this adamo last night after having viewed the van yesterday with a lot of interest, thanks for the good review, it certainly has changed my mind for the better on this van, also did you ever do a video on the wireless mics you and jenny use with your go pro, I'm having sound issue with my go pro media mic and I'm looking for wireless mics compatible with the go pro 9, thanks in advance
Thanks, glad you found the video useful. Last video I mentioned our Rode Wireless Go 2 mics was this video th-cam.com/video/zpY7r-DPxDI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_YUjLgabzfBg51sL There is a new kit from Rode, the Wireless Pro, which looks very interesting.
Quite a pretty site but that pitch would be way too short for our tag axle! Not enough room to get on and off. Don't see why you are not allowed to film the toilets, strange!! Looking forward to watching your journey to Maillaig on the Jacobite! We have driven there which was quite hair raising as the road was narrow and twisty in places and quite heavy traffic on it! We lost a wing mirror to a lorry! At Maillaig we parked and someone decided it was a good time to cut the grass and cover our van in grass clippings! Not our best trip that day!!! Would still love to go on the Jacobite though!
Hi Bob, thanks for the tip to buy the go pro hero 10, which I have now done, think I need a mic to improve audio quality and to stop wind noise, I see go probdo a media mod to suit, do you think this is worth the £80 quid, or can you recommend something else that is compatible with the hero 10 ? Thanks
Hi Bob, Jenny & Pops, We love your videos 😍 Our caravan is arriving on Saturday & we need to start booking sites but we keep hitting a blank Any recommendations on a good site to stay for our first ever trip! We live by stansted airport & don’t want to go too far on our first trip Currently watching your Hertford & ferry meadows videos We like the look of wagtail but feel it might be a bit too far on our first trip & first tow Thanks for any help Sam, Jamie & little Lewis
Hi Bob I wouldn't let it out you off getting an automatic. I have the Milenco Quattro 3 ramps and had no problems with the auto box. Do you think it may have been the type of depth of gravel used on the hard standing?
As you probably know by now, the Invercoe site isnt part of the highland holidays group, despite the name. I think its a family owned site. Hope you two are feeling better.
Not very impressed with that campsite small pitch not a great deal of room getting in site Glen nevis site looks miles better bigger pitches lovely site
Hats off to you both for getting out there whilst feeling rubbish, hope you feel better soon. Really enjoying the tour. Take care.
Thank you

Nice video that. Chilled out Sunday evening viewing
Great video thank you like poppy’s new collar
Glad both you are better. Beautiful country and site, love the dog pack.

Yes, let's hope you get back on the road soon.
Hi there. Another lovely video, you and Jenny are a pleasure to watch, so calm 👍👍.
Stay safe and well. Judy
Thank you, we'll try 😊👍
Nothing better than Scotland for scenery. All weather conditions in a single day. Hope you've recovered from your head cold.
Much better now thanks.
I see you are at the same camp as me tonight!
Can’t really miss your van.
Harris would like to say woof to Poppy!
We're at our friend's caravan at the moment.
You must have walked past Glyn's van. I had to ask Aileen what you looked like!
Hope your feeling a bit better Bob and Jenny. We enjoyed the video, and thanks for sharing.......Paul and Suzanne.
Much better, but still coughing and spluttering a little bit.
Loved that❤ simply put, you guys are the best🏆👍
So kind of you to say.
I hope you both are feeling better xx
95% better thanks!
Used to drive the length of the old A9 every month in the late seventies/early eighties it was a slog until the upgrades, now it’s a peach all the way to Perth and then Edinburgh, about half the travel time.
Yes a pretty good road now.

It's chucking it down in France

Wasn't just us struggling with that pitch though. Several people around us struggled with the pitch sizes and slopes.
Interesting to see inside the site , as I’m from Fort William and walk and drive past the entrance all the time as my wife works in the High School along the road . I think the park got taken over quite recently and the name got changed from Lochy .
Yes the sat nav had the site as Lochy Caravan Park.
great vlog bob and jenny
Oh how I miss this scenery, shame the pitch was a bit on the wonky side and tight 😧 Em 💜
We camped there when it was Lochy Campsite. Many many years ago.

We're liking the Adamo, but it's not without it's issues. Full review soon.

We'll have to try the Glen Nevis site!

Yes we drove to Mallaig a couple of years ago, quite a drive.

I did do a video on the Media Mod and it's competition the Ulanzi G9-4. th-cam.com/video/iIOiP0xfBns/w-d-xo.html
Hi Bob, Jenny & Pops,
We love your videos 😍
Our caravan is arriving on Saturday & we need to start booking sites but we keep hitting a blank

Thanks for any help
Sam, Jamie & little Lewis
Hertford is good because it's so big and open.
What was it that you wasn't best pleased about Bob? The pitch slope?
Mainly the pitch, sloping narrow and hard to access for bigger vans.
You can put the Adamo into manual mode for better traction ie when using wheel ramps
I did try that, still couldn't get up those Milenco ramps...
Hi Bob
I wouldn't let it out you off getting an automatic. I have the Milenco Quattro 3 ramps and had no problems with the auto box. Do you think it may have been the type of depth of gravel used on the hard standing?
Yes possibly, large stones acting like marbles under the Milenco ramps.
As you probably know by now, the Invercoe site isnt part of the highland holidays group, despite the name. I think its a family owned site. Hope you two are feeling better.
Thanks, I blame Glyn for that information 😊. Feeling much better thanks.
The caravan opposite you looked close ..
We use the big machines to do the rugs
It was close, all a bit tight there. One twin axle couldn't get in the pitch next to us.
I got confused looking at the title of the video Ben Nevis Caravan Park, as couldn’t find it, because it’s Ben Nevis Holiday Park.
OK thanks, I'll change the title.
Our pitch was great apart from the waste water running up hill, and the chemical emptying being 400 yards away.
Not our favourite was it?
Heck they really don't want you to see their toilet block! Had a look online as usually there's pics. Ah well. Enjoy.
We stayed their in 2018 but i think its been refurbished since then, we were at the back in the low numbers
Pitches there were more level and less cramped.
Not very impressed with that campsite small pitch not a great deal of room getting in site
Glen nevis site looks miles better bigger pitches lovely site
That's the one I thought we were going to.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo have you done a video arriving at glen nevis campsite ?
Never been to the Glen Nevis site.
