in my childhood (2010s) i also played with paper dolls, oh those special memories ! aww such dolls have their own beautiful charm like their aesthetics and smth that today's kids probably don't understand idk. buuut tysm for this lovely nostalgic video, i love it!! 💞💞💞
I can't get enough of the ring/hands sounds you make in your intros 💗 I always rewind and listen to it a couple times before watching the whole video. You've been helping me relax and fall alseep for a while now. Thank you Rea Moon 🌼🌜
You’ve been giving us so many good videos!! Thank you, thank you!! 💛 I used to play with paper dolls as a kid, mine didn’t look quite this fancy, but this is very nostalgic. 🥰
The first 3 looks reminded me of the power puff girls - 70s style lol! The blonde was in blue, the redhead was in a pinky dress, and brown hair in green! So fun, love these paper dolls! ❤
As a 1982 baby, I grew up so looking forward to my aunt taking me to the local Genovese to get paper dolls. One of my absolute favorite things to play with. Thank you so much for this video Rea, not only relaxing but brought a tear to my eye missing her.
Wow, this takes me back to when I was a child in the 1980’s. I used to love paper cut out dolls that you could dress up in different cut out paper outfits. I completely forgot about them so it’s a welcome blast from the past. Thanks Rea.
What a lovely trip down memory lane!!!....I remember my mom buying paper dolls for me on special occasions, like when we'd go camping.....or taking a trip somewhere.....easier to take than a regular doll.....mine came with a stand, so you could stand them up, hence the need for the tabs......great for the neurodivergent!!!.....
happy pride everyone! 🏳️🌈❤️ and thank you so much, rhea, for making this channel a safe space for everyone! this video reminded me of playing with paper dolls my mom bought me when i was young 😊 i'm in my late 20s and recently started collecting dolls again. this makes me want to get some paper dolls too!
in the late 60's we used to make our own using thick paper shopping bags. Then designing clothes by laying the dolls on paper and drawing the clothes around their shape, then cutting out. So fun. Thanks for this! Good Times!
this reminds me of my childhood, mom from italy and dad sweden i had to do this to, could hardly sit still or focus with adhd (didnt know then) and find myself shutting my eyes and almost fall asleep... until i "woke up" cus your ring got my attention... it started purple and then it turned lime green.. bright green such a nice color.. very very relaxing cus i feel that you like it.. not just doing it for the video and THATS even more relaxing. Thanks again for uploading💚
I adored paper dolls when I was a kid. My mom and grandfather were fashion illustrators so they made me the coolest ones ever ...I wish I had kept some
I played with something like this but instead of it being paper, it was fridge magnet doll and different clothes. I love seeing vintage things like this being shared 🥺🥺
I understand every word cause your pronuntiation is perfect. You talk slowly and its better for me. I'm from Argentina . I don't speak in english so often. But i like hear it. So beautiful the paper dolls. 😘
My mom played with paper dolls in the 70s and I played with her old ones when I was a kid. My sister and I loved dolls so we had a great time. I think we still have some of them
My favorite paper dolls were the set my mom had as a child (I’m 40, she’s in her 60s). They were Colonial Williamsburg paper dolls and came in this gorgeous box. I wish she still had them!!
This is my third time here and im still looking forward to actually seeing the clothes lol i keep falling sleep! Thanks so much Rea, this was a fun idea for a video
My grandma had a lot of old boots like that (she was born in 37) and I used to try to wear them when I was like 13, lol. I think that’s what began my fascination with boots 😂😅
I played with them throughout the 80s when I was a little girl. I loved them. There’s just something different about them, the simplicity that I just love.
Hello, I remember playing with paper dolls in the 90's. I don't see them anymore these days. I like this video of vintage dresses for paper dolls. This was interesting hearing you talk about what you remember .❤ I was wondering if you made a video talking about your rings and jewelry. Very calming video and I like the tapping sounds.
Sneaky me- I have been trying to figure out just how old you are. I keep thinking you are older than me but maybe we are the same age. When I was a kid I loved dong crafty things and one of the things I would do would make my own paper dolls out of cardboard and construction paper and then design the clothes. Do you happen to remember the Colorform dolls that had the little vinyl rubbery-like peel-off clothes that would stick to the shiny surface of the dolls? I remember my set! But most of the time the paper dolls were perforated. So they were easy to get out.
I don’t usually comment on videos but you’re a Saint and I know commenting is great for helping videos get seen and get more traction and you absolutely deserve it🤍
We used to have a big tin box filled with paper dolls and their clothes on my grandmothers summer cottage
Sounds like so much fun. 😍❤️

If I remember right, ours in the 90s punched out right? We didn’t have to cut them?
@@tonicox4005 they did punch out! Which was very good for me as I am dangerous with scissors even as an adult 😆
