Oud Pegbox Making - Design

Designing a pegbox for the Oud - Part 1 - Drawing
Pegbox making is a real joy in the process of Oud making.
represent different pictures, lots of stories to tell, variable designs between makers, a beautifully complex part with a heavy duty, playing an important role in making the oud look good. it must stay strong and steady but as lightweight as possible.
here I've tried to show you how I'm designing a pegbox with freehand drawing including the sizes and angles but as always, lots of details are missing so please don't hesitate to ask questions and help me if I do something wrong or missing something. :)

Amazing, It's accurately. You are the first Oud maker who tiles abot Pegbox sizes , so thank you so much for that knowledges , by the way : what is the distance between Tow keyhols ??

I insist on sharing as much as I can. such necessary things to do. even by someone like me who is a new student in this knowledge.
about the peg holes if you ask. I've seen an interesting thing from a smart oud maker: each pair of pegs (one on the left side and one on the right) does not need to be distant from each other. because the peg's heads are not on the same side and don't bother each other. so I decide to make every pair closer to give more space to the pegs on the same side. I hope you get what I mean.

by the way, let's tell you about the sizes and distances: peg 1 to 2: 1.3cm peg 2 to 3: 1.7cm, again peg 3 to 4: 1.3cm, and so on...

I mean how many CM between tow key holes . Aren't they should be the same?? And more further ?? I thinK at least 3CM 🤔🤔🫡🫡
