    7:55 is just so disrespectful. But humor aside, you kinda saw why the 97-99 Lakers didn't really come close to winning a title with all that talent. They didn't play with cohesion, consistent effort, and a legitimate plan. The irony is, player for player, the Phil Jackson led Lakers from 2000-2002 were probably less talented than the Lake Show Lakers. But they knew to feed the ball through Shaq (except when Kobe went rogue in 2001) and they had role players that didn't try to do or be more than what they were asked to be. That's why I laugh when people say shit like 'Lebron doesn't have help'. No the problem is, he doesn't have teammates that are empowered within an offense because he's out there doing 90% of the work even when he's got stars around him. The secret of the NBA is that team beats talent when team is more together than the talent is. The Warriors are a dynasty because their core guys don't show each other up. Winning is the most important element and bottom line of what they do.

    • @eboooo
      @eboooo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think they could have won in 1999 or 1998 and they came close but they didn't have cohesion yet. And they didn't have experience with their lead dogs. But you're right about teams. It's not about who the best players are but who plays best together.

    • @CoreyT127

      Very low basketball i.q. on those teams! Tons of talent but low i.q. that's why in 2000 Phil Jackson was didn't wanna have to face the jazz in the playoffs even though they were past their prime! Because they had very high i.q.

      You're making a blanket statement based off of a single breakaway dunk where he stumbled. There are literally hundreds of examples where he looks smooth and explosive off of one leg.

    • @jumpnam
      @jumpnam 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +dy120481 I've watched his whole career dude. I was 16 when he entered the L. I've seen thousands of his dunks, and he's rarely been explosive off one leg. He tended to swing his right leg up for momentum.
      Off two feet? Dude was a beast. Could get up and dunk over anyone
