Trying to react to the most awaited duet with Sherlyn Regis and Morissete Amon singing "Gusto ko nang bumitaw".
This video has 200 million views and she did it as a guest DJ on Wish 7 years ago, I think. While she was hosting she sang two songs. She said she never thought about it at the time as anything special. It was an opportunity to perform and she gives fully to each performance. At the time Little Mix was one of her favorite groups. She is so much more mature now as a singer, but it still rings true to her talent, work, and the best natural tone I have ever heard. She is 26 now. To be the best voice in the Philippines at present is saying something at this young age.

As I'm sure you have heard by now, she is not just a cover singer. She has several originals that are very popular and her latest album is all originals. She is top tier and stands with the best in the world. When you add in who she is as a person you get the woman who deserves all the respect and love life can offer.
If you would like to see another amazing performer from that island nation that seems to produce 50% of the best and then scatters them across the world, you would really enjoy watching KZ Tandingan show you what you might have thought to be impossible in a "cover" singer. I used scare quotes because she actually re-envisions the original as something new and fresh and really beautifully unique. Thank you for these suggestions. It is strange with Adele, its not that I am not a fan I just think she needs to mix it up a bit. That is not to say I dont enjoy others covering her songs because I do.

Hi Daz, pls try her rendetion of this song in busan so. korea, doubled by her cover of mariah carry's emotion with a whistle, and her cover of "I want to know what love is" with whistle, and her original tagalog song "akin ka na lang" in english "Please be mine" and of course with whistle tone.

Great reaction Daz. I don't really see Morissette as solely a 'cover artist'....she's just a world class singer. Now she is breaking through into the more mainstream music markets I imagine there will be no shortage of writers offering brilliant new songs to her................ There is a very soft, vulnerable and emotional side to Morissette as well. You should try 'Could You Be Messiah?'.......it is beautiful.
