Yes, you're right, this is the largest stadium in France, at 100,000. Tickets for which were completely sold out in 2009 in 3 hours. There will also be 2 concerts in this stadium in 2023. Perhaps the best live performer in the world (choreography, presentation, participatory audience, atmosphere, special effects, musicians in the best in the world, aura etc etc ...) Now you understand how famous she is in France and Russia, and how much the public loves her. Désenchantée is her biggest hit, lyrics are on the sad side but the contrast with the up tempo dance from the 90s was the reason of the success. It's like an anthem for many generations. Like in the previous MF reaction, you were so kind, smily, attached to other things around.. Mylène, it's 37 years of career and only 8 tours (2023), which means that when she comes back it is a national event. I was there during the Stade de France dates, it was incredible, unimaginable! Désenchantée is an anthem among fans, the song that unites us all! and a gift to say goodbye to his community!

Good catch on the backing vocals, those girls do a really great job. It's hard for a singer to do a choreography like that and maintain breath control. They, along with the guy doing the mix, smooth out the performance.

You're right, it's the end of this concert. The 2009 tour was divided into two parts. One in closed rooms (indoor). The other in stadium (outdoor). "Désenchantée" was the ending song of the outdoor part.
However, this song extremely dancing and catchy isn't happy at all. The text speaks of a disenchanted generation who no longer believes in anything and whose ideals have collapsed.

This song is her greatest success. The song is known by all French people, whether they like Mylène Farmer or not. For people born in the 80s and early 90s, this song is truly a hymn. Thank you for this new reaction. I was at this concert. As you say, the stadium is very big and "so crowded". So the visibility is not really ideal. But the atmosphere was wonderful and the audience very cheerful.
