I just started watching you, and I can’t stop also I’m ready to start and try to make my own!!! You’re like the Bob Ross of soft baits 😂😂 the panfish ones are my favorite!!
I can't wait to start making my own lures this summer! I have 7 molds. 2 AnglingAI molds, 3 do-it molds, and a couple generic hand poor molds. Not bad for just beginning, at least I don't think so.
I just decided to jump in and get some beginner supplies. I mentioned this before quite a while ago, but I want to make some tribute lures with my dad's ashes to send to friends/family. I'll test to be sure, but I'll be sure to let you know how they turn out.
Hey Chris! This video was kind of a surprise. I recently have added some panfish molds to my collection, and have had a great time shooting them. Just a great video. For color I liked the Junebug/Yellow combo, but the twintails in black/gold glitter were fantastic. Thanks for the great video!
Hey Chris, do you ever heat your molds before you shoot them instead of heating the plastic up to get into those small spaces? Also how often do you actually use the vac chamber?
Sweet i just made some curly tails the other day man getting ready for Reelfoot Tennessee , I decided to make some while watching this to went for a clear with blue Flake and holographic flake in a 2 inch curly tail mold they turned out awesome, those black clear and gold ones you made man look absolutely fire wonder if the skirt mold you had would work on those smaller twin tails to ? could be like a micro version 🤔 👀✊
Love the black and gold laminate twin tails,,, awesome! Would love to get into this, but I have too many hobbies and not enough money or time for another one. So i get to live vicariously through your vids. Keep 'em coming!
The pond I fish at, in south-east PA, I can catch decent sized large mouth bass on Zoom's Fat Albert grubs any day of the week. I'm not sure if it's my skills from fishing grubs for crappies as a kid, or if the fish are pressured on everything else, but one thing is certain: the right size, shape, and colored curl tail grub can certainly catch large mouth bass!
Just a thought as I look at these molds. Do they make a mold that the groove that feeds into the other parts of the mold is a mold itself? Like a worm bait? So you would get a worm down the center and then a bunch of the small pan fish baits all in one?
The runner that goes down the center is sized and shaped specifically to be a reservoir of plastic for the cavities to draw from.. that is its function, trying to make that into a usable bait would be pointless I'm afraid
Possibly a stupid question, but here goes.. Does the drum roll act as a way to loosen the baits out of the mold? I always see you do that, and wonder if its function or simply suspense. Lol, thanks.
Very nice. I love multi-species fishing and these would do great. If you ever get a chance can you make a more durable version of the 1" Gulp minnows? That would be big for the panfish fishing world.
Awesome......... The twin tail laminate was my favorite........ The best bait recently around my neck of the woods is the mighty mite by cubby 1.5" 1/32 oz white body pink head. They are getting real hard to find......... And real expensive. Wish I had or could make that mold. My dad just spent 90 dollars on them. Loved the video
Wow!!!! Fantastic video!!!! Honestly can't choose a favorite. Although the charcoal and gold flake might just edge past by the smallest of margins. Again, Wow!!!!
I just got the 2.5 curly tail, and I am having trouble with it. Either tails will not fill, or it flashes. I've tried heating the mold, and I've tried shooting the plastic at about 345°and fast. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. By the way I really enjoy your work, I hope to get to 1/2 your level someday
Those would be gold fishing for surf perch here in So Cal. Looking forward to pouring my own very soon. I've learned a ton from you and for that I thank you kind sir. 👍
Ok I have a question when I was making my baits yesterday I mixed up my plastic really good but it wouldn’t set up very good this had never happened to me
Just ordered my first angling ai mold ordered the minnow one we usr it alot in alabama for crappie blue gill skip jack strips and large mouth eill it them great content
Hi there, How big is that injector your using as i have just bought the 2.5inc molds but am not looking for the injector that will work great for that mold as i dont want to run out half way.
That was awesome video. Glad you got some panfish molds. Black and gold single tail 2 in was my favorite. Best of luck getting to 70 thousand subscribers. I am impressed every time I watch your videos. Really awesome!" good content'
Im a fan of high cavity molds, just seems so rewarding. I only have one right now but really wanna pick up that twin tail and one of the single tails from Ai.
I’m time tripping looking at some of your videos. I’m going on 70 and people forgot how big of a deal it was when those grubs came on the scene. You do some amazing builds. And BUILDS THEY ARE. LAYER ON TOP OF LAYER. When the Navy put together their survival kit they went to Bill Upperman and he said JIGS are the best in that situation.
Great video long time waiting for that one Please do some more favorite colors or a better favorite color Can’t wait for the 2.5 curly tail perch version I know that’s coming lol
I'm liking the 2" hot pink. That's how to make A TON of baits in a hurry. Great job Chris!
Thanks dude!!
Who doesn't love all the panfish of the world???
I do!!!
All i do is crappie baits
@@MarkWilliams-yx7bx it is so much fun
@@WorldsWorstFishing yes it is. So many. Choices on colors and body styles out there.
Hey I have a question did you just use lureworks black cause hen I use it it’s not saturated at all or did you use a different colorant color
I just started watching you, and I can’t stop also I’m ready to start and try to make my own!!! You’re like the Bob Ross of soft baits 😂😂 the panfish ones are my favorite!!

I love panfish fishing. The 2” grub works great with a 1/16 oz Johnson Original Beetle Spin. Keep up the panfish videos!
I can't wait to start making my own lures this summer! I have 7 molds. 2 AnglingAI molds, 3 do-it molds, and a couple generic hand poor molds. Not bad for just beginning, at least I don't think so.
Yes sir. I started with cheap silicone open pours, then got some nicer silicones from stankx then a few do-it molds and now a small assortment of cnc
Blue and gold WVu

The black n gold 2.5 is killer. Well done Mr. Jones
Thank you
That is seriously some killer molds! The colour choices were 🔥
Chris, does the 2 inch tail mold have a hole in it like the 2.5 inch tail mold has?
could you use that "up north" mold? Looks really cool and maybe good for drop shot?
Haha it's actually a crappie minnow mold..I was joking on that one..but yeah I think you could
Loved all the colors! All the different size molds looked really good 👍🏽
It's a nice variety

Yessir
Black and gold in the double tail was my favorite
started making my own baits because of you Bro. Have 3 Angling AI molds, so far they are pretty awesome
He's top of the line
My favorite has to be the Saints double grubs 🙌🏻🙌🏻

First hot days here and our AC went out too week ago, got to love it lol
Yippee 😄
The 2.5 is going make great bait for walleyes. I will be ordering! Thanks for the great content.
I have the 2.5 and the tail mold. It is amazing. The tail action is perfect and I catch a lot of crappie on them. Great video as always.
Do you have the link for those molds
Will you be doing some baits red white and blue triple inject for July? That looks cool in my head anyway.
Stinger tail grubs work great in South Arkansas. Really good action in the tail for vertical jigging.
What brand and color name did you use for the yellow?
I like the black and gold flake the best👍
They all look awesome but my favorite is the laminate
I liked all of the colors, the LSU and the unintended Saints (black and gold) were perfect!
Ahh...they were kinda Saints
The pink ones are awesome
Those charcoal and gold flake twin tails 🤩
All the colors are pretty cool but love the black and gold. Double tail grub for sure.
Dbl tail is sweet
Possibly a stupid question, but here goes.. Does the drum roll act as a way to loosen the baits out of the mold? I always see you do that, and wonder if its function or simply suspense. Lol, thanks.
Black with chartreuse is my go to color for panfish
Right on
Can you color match the green weenie crappie grub.
Would Black Sapphire pair well with June Bug.
Very nice. I love multi-species fishing and these would do great.
If you ever get a chance can you make a more durable version of the 1" Gulp minnows? That would be big for the panfish fishing world.
Those are really fantastic baits!
Where can I get the molds like you use
do you make the molds?

You can probably find a very similar mold
The black/gold twin tail made my rod twitch. Gotta love fishing lingo! 👍🍺🎣
Hahaha
Wow!!!!
Fantastic video!!!!
Honestly can't choose a favorite. Although the charcoal and gold flake might just edge past by the smallest of margins.
Again, Wow!!!!

How long do you let your baits sit in the mold before you pull them out?
A minute or two
The black and gold were my favorites.
Me 2
Love that laminate! Would use chartruse glitter in the laminate next time.
Great idea
I gotta say the twin tail black and gold! 👍
We caught over 30 crappie on the black and gold single tail
Im lovin the twin tailed black and gold

Blk&gold and Junebug.... very nice

Do you sell your soft plastic lures? And if so where can I purchase them from? Love your videos.
Im a fan of high cavity molds, just seems so rewarding. I only have one right now but really wanna pick up that twin tail and one of the single tails from Ai.
Yes it is very "rewarding"
Great video! Those will catch some crappie. Any chance of you reviewing the hammer mold with the crazy laminating design?
I need to!
i love the yellow junebug
How to i buy plastisol and items to make this lure

Solid orange top with a gold with gold flake bottom
I like the 2” and I think the laminate looks the best, but I bet the pink catches the most crappie
I would so toss all these for perch, walleye, trout and anything else in the PNW... especially yellow/purple
Great video long time waiting for that one Please do some more favorite colors or a better favorite color Can’t wait for the 2.5 curly tail perch version I know that’s coming lol
