It would be the best of jones lost to stipe that'd be amazing or stipe gets injury and tom gets put in bc if jones wins there goes the heavy weight

@@NubbyMMA Only reason I listened to as much of this video as I did, was because your crash-out was making me laugh. Look, you were swindled into believing O’Malley was elite. A lot of us knew he didn’t belong on the throne, to begin with. They robbed Yan to get Suga to the belt, then they set up Aljo for failure (who was also only only belted due to the DQ, followed by another Yan robbery).
If you took a sober look at this matchup and Merab’s roster of wins, it was painfully obvious that Sean was in for a humbling domination of a defeat. Popularity and promotion will only get you so far. If the fights are close, the judges will rob less liked fighters all day. They were literally trying to rob Merab, based on the scorecards. Merab and Belal are the best guys in their divisions right now. THAT’S WHAT MMA IS ABOUT. If you want the best showman to win, watch WWE.

@@calebnewell5032 You realize most people picked Sean right? Cejudo and Moraes were catching Merab and wobbling him at the least. This was not a bad pick at all. Sterling vs Yan 2 was not a robbery either. Close fights aren’t robberies. Strickland vs DDP was NOT a robbery i repeat, not a robbery.

@@NubbyMMA I know a lot of people picked Sean. I’m not saying that picking Sean makes you casual (even though he was absolutely the casual’s pick, due to fame and image), I’m saying that a lot of people got swindled into thinking Sean was better than he is and anyone who looked at this matchup objectively, on both sides, knew that all O’Malley really had was a puncher’s chance at winning, but only if Merab made a serious mistake (like Aljo).
If this was kickboxing, you’d be a fool not to pick O’Malley, but it’s mma and those of us that didn’t fall for the hype, fans and fighters alike, saw what happened Saturday as the likely outcome. It’s fine to be bummed about picking wrong, but you were crashing tf out. 🤣 Maybe keep it up if that’s your thing. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Close fights are literally the only fights that become robberies. It’s impossible to give a victory to someone that got their asses clearly whooped. That’s why Merab has the belt. If it was any closer on round 1, Sean would’ve kept the belt, which would’ve been a blatantly undeniable robbery.
Yan absolutely beat O’Malley. He had about 10 less significant strikes than Sean, but he had over 5 min of control time and 6 takedowns. “Control time doesn’t matter,” you say? Well then why did it matter so much when that was all Aljo had in the Yan rematch? Bro just held onto Yan like a backpack and lost every other engagement. It doesn’t add up. Taking the belt from Yan, for the illegal knee was an overpunishment, as well.
Frankly, I think it wound up being a racial thing, due to the Russian/Ukraine stuff, but it’s possible that it came down to the UFC pre-calculating that Sean absolutely couldn’t make it through 5 rounds with Petr. You and everyone else needs to see that the UFC has been making moves that absolutely reek of greed.
Additionally, I totally agree that DDP vs Sean wasn’t a robbery. I didn’t think it was even close to a robbery. DDP clearly outclassed Strickland. If Strickland would’ve kept the belt though, then that would’ve objectively been a robbery. HOWEVER… DDP took more visible damage than Strickland, which brings us back to the Yan vs O’Malley fight. Yan outclassed O’Malley just as much as DDP outclassed Strickland, yet he lost the decision. The judging is so severely inconsistent, that the only logical outcome is it’s clearly a corrupt operation and the scoring is biased.

@@calebnewell5032 Im not mad about my pick being incorrect. Im mad about these wrestlers taking over. Anyone with a brain would prefer Knockouts over Half Guard camping, Yes sean did get exposed but i do believe he will be back better than ever as well.
