Music is an artistic way of expression. When you have something to say from your heart or mind, express the words with some tone to make it fun and lasting. The difference between giving encouraging words, speeches, praises, confession, stories, advice, etc. is when you add some rhythm to it. When you read the lyrics of a song in a monotone it's boring right? If the song is made to inspire people or to make them learn faster, or describe a certain place or a person, is it inappropriate to sing it as a Christian? Even the national anthem is music. You sang it once in your life, right? At the end of the day, lyrics are all that matters whether it's good or bad. We even have to be discerning about some Christian songs with very beautiful music but theologically incorrect. I agree that music is made to worship God. But what about your brain, your hands, your money, your phone, God made them but didn't you use it for some other things? This is my analytical study without any Bible inferences but free to comment. But I still love you, I was inspired by your song.... Peace! Please pray for me.
