Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law./inspiration+ The Prayer of Jabez is a powerful one. In 2000, Christian author Bruce Wilkinson wrote a book called The Prayer of Jabez: Breaking Through to a Blessed Life. In this book, Wilkinson discussed the importance of praying like Jabez. Jabez prayed that God would bless him. That He would expand his territory. That God would keep His hand upon him and protect him from harm. A simple prayer, but a powerful one. It asks for divine favor, anointing, and protection--a life free from sorrow. These are the things we all seek from God. Jabez, a relatively obscure Biblical hero, teaches us that we "have not, because we ask not." We don’t know much about Jabez, except that he prayed this prayer and that he was more honorable than his brothers. But one thing we do know, however, is that God heard him and answered His prayer. Let us commit to praying these things over our own lives. If God did it for Jabez, surely He will do it for us as well./prayer+ Father, I ask Your blessings on my life and the life of my family. I pray that You give me all that I need and, even more, that You prosper me. I pray for Your guidance, Your strength and Your protection. I thank You for hearing my prayer. Amen.

In Tampa Florida, there was a J.M. Fields department store. Fields went out of business decades ago and the building laid fallow until some developers bought the property in the early 80s. In Florida, if you buy a pre existing building and plan to bulldoze it and build another, due to the sandy soil and possibility of sink holes, you are required to rip up the old concrete slab, do a geological survey and pour a new one. When they ripped up the old slab, they found a Seminole indian burial mound or what was left of one. They called in the police, (Jimmy Hoffa?:). The police called in scientists who identified it as Seminole. The Seminoles came in and laid claim to it without costing a cent. The sale was illegal because technically, the seller didn't own it. The Seminoles did. They first opened a bingo hall then a casino and sold tax free cigarettes for $6.00 a carton. Florida tried to shut it down because the Seminole's for profit bingo games, multi thousand dollar jackpots, $36,000 Cadillac grand prizes and tax free cigarettes violated Florida's laws on non profit charity bingo games, $100 limit on jackpots and untaxed tobacco. Florida has no state income tax but the feds were wondering about income tax on prizes over $600 like is documented at dog and horse racing tracks. The Seminole's said Oh well, we aren't in Florida OR America. We are in Seminole land and we will do as we please. Florida was discussing blockadeing the entrance to the property claiming international borders. It was said that if Florida did this, the Seminole's would either shut down or open toll booths on U.S. 1. The main / only highway to Key West as they owned land under that too. Florida pulled in it's horns. The Seminole's kept the jackpots, prizes and tobacco and the feds got tax forms filled out by people winning over $600 on any one game. My father won $20,500 in 2 games in 1987. He had the family's share of luck. He bought his own Cadillac.

Where do these videos get their "facts"? There weren't any torpedos in 1864. The Hunley carried a mine (small keg of gunpowder) lashed to a spar fastened to the submarine. The spar had a sharp iron point that was forced into the hull of the Housatonic. The Capt. pulled a rope which armed the mine. The Hunley then backed off the Housatonic. It exploded in a couple minutes, eventually sinking the ship. The Sub turned and proceeded away. The loss of the Hunley is still unexplained. It was NOT caused by the mine. This is where I left the parade. If the other "Incredible recent discoveries" are on the same plane, you're wasting your time viewing this s**t. The search that found the Hunley was financed by Clive Cussler, by the way.

@@lawrencehulsbrink6224 I should have elaborated more. The mines of that day were frequently referred to as torpedoes but of course they didn't move. And the Hunley was NOT blown up by one of its torpedoes. Adm. Farragut at Mobile Bay famously said, "Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead." Interestingly, because of the copper hull sheathing of all wooden vessels, the usual method of attacking ships underwater was to ram a pole or spear with a pointed barb through the plating and into the wood. This was what had defeated David Bushnell's Turtle submarine in the Revolution.

Your Hunley research appears to be way off. The Hunley used a spar "torpedo" or a barrel of explosives attached to the end of a spar which was also attached to the submarine. The latest consensus of opinion is that the sub was way to close to the target when the explosive went off and the concussion actually killed all the crew immediately. The blast also damaged the sub and as it drifted away from the target if slowly filled with water and sank. All of the crew were found at their battle station. The submarine was actually found only a few hundred yards from the remains of her target, the USS Housatonic.

THe information on the Hunley is inaccurate. The Hunley didn't have torpedoes, instead it had a long boom with an explosive on the end. When the Hunley delivered the explosive, it would explode. After the Hunley delivered it's first and last explosive, it signaled the shore that the mission had been completed.....then was never heard from again. When found, there was no damage to the submarine indicating the cause of the sinking. All eight crew were found in their seated position, not all trying to escape through the one and only exit. THis reason is why I believe the calculations on the amount of oxygen needed and how much was used were inaccurate. I believe the crew ran out of oxygen, lost consciousness, and sank.

    • @georgeannec3444
      @georgeannec3444 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

There is a theory that they were to close when singers torpedo blew and the shock might have been possible for the deaths. It was on a spar and the ship had to ram the Housatonic. They don't believe they were able to get back far enough because the rope fuse was not long enough. A group of men from Texas were instrumental in its creation. E. C. Singer and Dr. John Fretwell were two men from Port Lavaca. It was Singers torpedo they used. He also created underwater contact mines for the confederacy.

@Khaboob Norma-Getz-Off actually it wasnt all THAT different... just because they didnt have refridgeration doesnt mean they didnt have ice. Sharbat, not "sherbert", was a fruity drink that was sometimes mixed with snow or shaved ice. Also our "sherbert" is actually misspelled. The original and correct spelling is sherbet. but ppl have been doing it wrong for so long that "sherbert" is now considered to be an alternate spelling in some dictionaries. i know that it was more of a drink than a frozen treat. it was also called SHARBAT. he called it "sherbert" in the video. thats why i said all the "sherbert" i ever had was frozen, because what was in the jar clearly couldnt have been frozen. thats because the jar was for Sharbat. just sayin...

@Khaboob Norma-Getz-Off i didnt nit-pick... you did.. you said EXACTLY what i said but without intelligence or wit. If you had done the same, that is, searched about sherbert/sherbet/sharbat, then you would have seen what sharbat was and why i was saying that i was sure he was talking about sharbat.
Instead you opened your big floppy mouth and thought you were humorously correcting me. But then when you found out that your comment made you look stupid and with the humor of an unrefined 5th grader you thought you might get your dignity back by lashing out at me, which didnt work sad ... really sad..

@Khaboob Norma-Getz-Off i get the feeling that you frequently act like you know quite a bit about things only to have people google the things you call "facts" and then call you on it when your totally wrong. i bet you hate when people know actually know what they are talking about because you NEVER know what youre talking about.... constantly pretending to know stuff and pretending to have an IQ higher than 50 get old fast when people can tell you youre wrong to your face. AS far as an original thought, this entire thing started because you REPEATED MY original thought. also i am impressed that you know what Verbatim means, even though you spelled it wrong, and even though i Didnt repeat anything verbatim.
in the end your fall apart like a crazy old man ranting under his breath. We get it, you feel threatened by people who know what they are talking about because you arent smart enough to keep up. its natural in that frame of mind to regress back to when you felt like you WERE smart and you WERE in control... regress all the way back to high school when you could just bully the smart kids that made you feel stupid. threaten them so you feel like a big shot..... well ive got some bad new for you... you were never in control or smart, and you wasted all the time you had, and now you will never catch up. but hey, that football scholarship (or whatever sport you thought you were good at) comes in real handy out here in the real world...
      Whats that?
playing sports aint worth shit in the real world?
wow, tough break. maybe if your coach had taught you how to be humble and sit down, you might be okay... but i guess thats one of those "book learnin's" you never got around to while doing 2 a days or whatever fucking stupid training you did. now stop bothering me... i have much more important things to be doing that talking down to an 9th grade dropout.

    Diamonds are pure hoax
*Natural diamonds are not pure and are weaker than artificial ones.
*Makeing an artificial diamond is not something really hard on manufactureing level, and it costs almost nothing.
*diamonds only benefit is being really stif, what makes them good cutting blades.
difference between artificial and natural one is only its purty.
diamond price was pumped up in 30's by makeing lack of it at market. Actually they are not as rare rocks as usual human being could think of.
diamonds does not have any more practical value more than industrial one, and same goes for gold and silver.

I wanted to say good video as it started so well.. but I find myself saying *"Wait wait wait this coin collection was confusing because coins were from all over the place? SERIOUSLY people are not this dumb??? It is simple, the coins were of a collector. The coin collector, you might have heard of them before? He owned something called LAND before so many roads ran all over.. GEESH!!"* 😫😫😫😫
Only downhill from here.. the most insane thing of all is you expect people to just take what is said at face value with zero thought or reaction.. like we are dead inside with no ideas or thoughts or RESEARCH ourselves.

... and Modigliani's Lizard was more PREVALENT, perhaps BECAUSE it was more PROLIFIC... but not by MUCH... "Children, colloquial narrative is not an excuse for poor word usage!" Sister Mary Electa, Seventh Grade English Grammar. Bad habit, that... or a loose garment worn by female members of a religious order: Two Big Macs, large fries and a Coke.
