Republic Mack LEU Heil Odyssey Curotto Can Garbage Truck at the Spring Cleanup

I’ve been visiting Elmhurst’s annual spring cleanup for four years, and this was the first time I grabbed video of one of the LEU Odyssey front loads. I was always focused on filming the other trucks that I never got around to filming one of these until the 2023 cleanup rolled around, and I realized I didn’t have video of one. There weren’t as many cool trucks which is why I had the time to film this one, because otherwise I’m sure I would have probably gone and looked for something else. Although the hydraulics were a little slow, the driver was pretty cool and the piles were pretty big which all made for a pretty good video in my opinion. He left the table at the 4 minute for safety reasons, because it would be a bit difficult to load on his own and when raising the curotto it could move around and potentially fall out. At these cleanups the routes overlap, so sooner or later a rear load crew would come by and make sure it gets taken care of safely. Not much else to say but I hope you all enjoy the video!

At least he is out of the truck picking the rubbish up. Not like the trash collectors in my home town. You have to put their trash can on the curb yourself. All the do is push it up to the truck that does all the work. Uor trash collectors are lazy..
