      Thanks for watching, anything you want to see that we didn't cover just let us know and will do our best to cover it. We are about to hit our initial 50 hour oil break in change just directly.

    Thanks for the walk around. Nice new machine I know you really enjoy it. I’m thinking about selling my SVL95-2 and getting a M5-091.

    Thank you for showing your tractor. I just got the same for my self and I wonder if you ever discussed fender extensions in the rear or front fenders with your dealer ?
    I asked my dealer about it and he looked at me like I am from another planet
    I am having few side hills here and I had to move the wheels as far out was possible but now the tires trow more stones on gravel roads.
    Thank you.

      Thank you for watching. I have not inquired with my dealer yet, but I will and let you know what my dealer says. I have noticed the same issue after getting in some mud and gravel even before setting my wheels out. Definitely would save some windows on cars and cleaning time on the tractor.

    Just get you some adapter sleeves for your lift pins. That way you don't have to change your lift pins and can still use on your cat one tractors. They only cost a couple dollars each at tractor supper. Will need different size for the top link.

    None of my tractors have keeping pins on the stabilizer pins. My M7060 has a short chain on top to keep from dropping the pin but those pins will not fall out without the keeper or at least I have never have that happen on any tractor.

    Thanks for the great review! I'm about to pull the trigger on the m4, was that just too small for your needs? The m5 is awfully nice!

      Thanks for watching, Yeah the m4 just was a touch small for us eventually this will be a secondary tractor for us so I was on a fine line of not to small but not to big. Originally I was going with the m4-071 and like anything else I was sure I would have regretted not getting the next size up. Also we have quite a bit of hilly ground and a touch more horsepower never hurts. I really liked the m4 because of the lack of the def system .

    Nice review , just wanted to mention you can simply buy a couple cat 2 to cat 1 bushings that slip in your 3pt balls. Keep the equipment reviews coming really enjoy your point of views.

      Have you had much luck with the bushings? I've had several people that swore by them and some that was against it. That would be alot better than changing the pins out. Thanks for watching.

      The few times I've used them no issues, not much to go wrong that I can see

      Just remembered think my m8540 came with the cat 1 to 2 bushings

  • @brianmartineau5945
    @brianmartineau5945 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've got a m8540 one issue w it is the elec pto switch , it engages instantly to full power, no soft start like my other tractors. When I try to engage heavy or fast spinning equipment like my Rears brush flail terrible violent start up, sometimes would stall tractor, bad engineering. To prevent this I click the yellow knob on off on off on off and once pto is nicely turning leave on . Your seeder or any lighter loaded equipment won't be an issue.

      I have noticed that myself ,so far to combat that on my brush cutter. I have been putting my idle down low as possible soft starting and then ramping up like old school, when the clutch on the old farmers tractor wasn't quite in adjustment but he'd always say send it.
