Taking cover is the most important thing you need to keep doing in bot missions. For the rest, I use the autocannon a lot, 500kg, eagle clusters bombs, rocket centry. Avarage killcount 300+
This is the first time ever I see someone recommend builds with gas nades in it, I've been using the gas against the bots since they changed it because it's too good to pass on it when they're on the chase. With my team we're also going heavy with turrets (minimun 6 turrets) and we're doing fine in level 10 missions, the combination is usually 2/3 Autocannon Turrets, 2/3 Rocket turrets, 1 EMP Turret, 2 RR (or 1RR + Autocannon),1 Backpack, 1 HMG and some orbital/eagle strats. Bots usually do not call for reinforments when engaged from turrets and this makes missions way wasier to do.
The text guides are supposed to have gas/thermite it was a mistake on my part that didn't get saved due to a memory dump on my pc when I saved them. But yea gas has more situations that it's better thermite is just better for death spirals. I almost always take gas with heavy at build and thermite with things like the stalwart and mg. I like engineer suits and the impact frag grenades because 6 hand held bombs is more crowd friendly than 3/5 thermites, and do a bit better with a crowd. Devastators usually need 2 good impact grenade hits to die, and can deal with a group. As well all the tanks can be killed with a direct hit against their weak spot or two for general hits.
For armor, I like the Explosive resistance Medium armor that has about default 128ish armor (The armor between 100 armor and 150 armor) It still provide decent mobility, while allowing you to cheat 1 shot death from bots or allies.
