There is a historic Abbasid mosque next to the ancient fort of Derawar in Cholistan. This mosque was completed in 1849. This Abbasid or Shahi mosque was built by Nawab Bahawal Khan Third. This mosque is very well built. Built with marble, this Abbasid mosque gives joy and happiness to the hearts. The Abbasid Jama Masjid of Derawar is of great historical importance.
