    I think that college polls/rankings are stupid, and a waste of time. Once the schedule is set the rankings change nothing and are a distraction. At the end of the season make the bowl assignments. Done. Wisconsin isn’t in the top 25 and I am liking that. No pressure to maintain a ranking. Just play hard. Play the scheduled teams. Full stop. Let me repeat. Rank means nothing. It’s what the team does week to week. When the season is over the bowl selection committees will have figured out if you have been breaking heads. Rankings are why in the past there have been lopsided bowl games. Committees pit two closely ranked teams and result: blowout. Throw out the rankings and actually have competent people look at the films.
