I appreciate Steve's approach to handling his shows, if only because I'm just imagining these shows 15-20 years later being reviewed by OSW and they're just losing their minds over the bollocks. XD
The class of the wrestlers matters more than anything. Making sure all the matches have both/all wrestler's classes highlighed in green will ensure higher star matches. Popularity of the superstars in those matches also affects the number of fans you gain.
For better match ratings... You GOTTA do face vs heel. You gotta build the rivalry to at least 2 before having a match if you are using a specialist. (Unless their popularity is 80+) You gotta have giant vs cruiser or fighter vs bruiser. Even if the match is actually good, when you sim it, the only thing that matters is the stats. I.E. Sheamos vs Rockberg. Watching you guys play is still fun though, cause watching people play MyGM well, is kinda boring. Watching people book a face giant vs a face fighter with no rivalry in a hell in a cell title match, and get 2 stars, then lose their shit, is funny.

I'm so appreciative of the Enforcer being Steve's "Yes and" guy. Larson having to deal with two giddy teens is top-notch content.
