Hi there. Love Scotland too. We can recommend Glen Nevis Caravan Site at the base of Ben Nevis. It may be a good one to do after Glen Coe. Then there’s Ardmair Point Caravan Site in Ullapool. We used the Caledonian MacBrayne ferries from there to see the islands of Eigg, Muck, Rum and Canna and also Lewis. On the way back down, Culzean Castle (C+CC site) near Ayr was lovely. We took a CalMac ferry from Ardrossan to visit Arran for a day and used the bus to travel around the islands. In Northumberland we love South Meadows Caravan Site. It’s north of Alnwick just off the A1 on the outskirts of the village of Belford. Beautiful site with an excellent location. Hope that’s of some use to you, Happy caravanning.👍
Your Scotland trip sounds brilliant! We’ve booked to stay in our caravan at Europa Park in Germany this summer. Our daughter also loves a theme park! ✨
We can recommend Paxton House campsite in Northumberland, not too far from Berwick, lovely site in what used to be a walled garden and reasonably priced too. The Barn at Beal is good for visiting Lindisfarne too, Great Vlog as always guys.
We adore Scotland too! We've just planned 2 weeks exploring the Outer Hebrides and can't wait! We're in Cambridge so it's a looooong drive! Stopping 1 night in Yorkshire and 1 night in Oban on the way up. 1 night on Skye and then Moffat on the way home. Wish us luck! Thanks for sharing N&Nx

We also like Donkey Creek, but go in the week, there are lot of things to do for 'little hey ho' to do. We have this year all booked up,1 week each month from March (Donkey Creek) to October. Have you ever been to Cheddar? The CAMC Site is really nice and lovely helpful wardens. Enjoy your caravaning in 2025 🌞
@heyholetstow we stayed at Cheddar for 2 nights on the way to Cornwall and the same on the way back last year. We really liked it and have booked 7 nights in May. We are booked on D.C March & September it's only an hour away, we will say hello if we see you. Happy Caravaning 🌞
Wherever you end up we hope you enjoy it!! As for club to join we are members of the CCC we were warned off the c&mc due to its regulations regarding placement etc. (I think our contact had a run in with a very strict warden?) The CCC has always been good for us. Some join both! Not sure why? Most places have camp sites from both camps? Perhaps someone can give their reasons? Take care David and Debbie
@@davidlewins4631 we have been members of both and never had issue with either. We just forgot to renew last year. Both have advantages and disadvantages though you have to make sure you get enough use out of them both in the year. Thanks for watching!
I hoped to make it to Scotland this year, but it looks like it will be next year. I want to show Max that it's such a lovely country. Love a theampark, so looking forward to seeing what you find!
@@heyholetstow From the South Coast, it's a long trip up!! this year we cant get a big chunk off in one go as we would want to take at least 4 weeks to make it worth the trip (it's closer to go to Europ than the midlands from here lol
We’re booked for East Coast up to Inverness over 3 weeks or so. Year before last we got a ferry from Ardrossan to Campbeltown on the Mull of Kintyre and stayed at Macrihanish Holiday Park and then worked our way up to Fort William, had great weather and the Mull was lovely particularly the Isle of Gigha. The Birrs Country Park in Bury is a nice weekend one plus there is the world famous Bury Market which is a real throwback.
Not done scotland for many years.... so one to add. Have a look at hungerhill site a cl near cleethorpes. About 20 mins south of the bridge. You can get to grimsby. Cleethorpes and mablethorpe. Even as far s skegness... from there. Plus it is child friendly....
