Just wanted to tell u 4 months ago we bought this same roller and we love it.What a difference from that garbage wacker roller we had.Hamm really makes a great product. Thanks for making this video
Yeah, I agree! It’s definitely a nice machine. I actually had a local rental place that we use say that they share the video with renters who haven’t used one of these machines or aren’t familiar with this particular one.
Brilliant video I was stuck in euro auction in Leeds UK today and couldn't find parking brake so you tubed it and your video came up watched it and I was away thank you
So we are thinking about upgrading to the hamm hd12 from the wacker rd12 roller. How reliable of a roller is it?Have you had any major problems with it?
I never owned it personally, but I knew an old guy that used to work at the tool rental place and as let me use it a few times. They have three of these machines they rent and he said they used them because they’re very reliable and they have the least problems with them.
So, based off of what he said, they seem to be the go to roller. I work at my father‘s business that uses excavators for electrical and plumbing work, but I’m involved in the construction industry and see a lot of these on job sites, and I rarely hear complaints about them.
Yeah, I think that’s what these are best for. I see a lot of decent 3 to 5-year-old ones for sale in the mid 20s and I think they’re like close to 50 grand new. If it’s in really good condition and well kept, it sounds like a pretty good deal
It’s just the button on the front of that left side joystick. It activates the vibration, but it’s only on or off. There is no high or low vibration settings on this model. Just activated on through the button or activated off through the button.
Thank you. But do u know why roller dont have ppwer to go uphill. Engine have rpms but after myb 10 seconds rpms drop and roller dont move. Does he have like low speed or something. Or I have somekind problem with pump?
Rented this roller when my piece of shit wacker rd12 broke down.Sold our wacker now we are looking for a Hamm rd12 to buy.Its a great roller. How do u like yours ?
I like it. Although I only have experience using one different roller so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but I definitely like it and it didn’t fall short in any areas I ever needed. I only used it on dirt and Millings, though. Never asphalt.

How to engage low vibration on 1:45 and what are dots on?

Yeah, there could be a mechanical problem with it. It doesn’t sound like a speed or a button issue.
I can ask around and see if any of my buddies have an idea and let you know if I hear anything
