    EXCELLENT finds from both you and Tony, my friend! You guys got all of the good ones about a week or so before my son and I went out there. LOL Seriously though, so glad you guys got to get out there for a bit and had some fun hounding.

      Thanks my friend! There’s always plenty hiding at that spot. It’s just a matter of battling the heat at the moment

      We’ll show you where it’s at when you come out this way. There’s always plenty there to find

    Very cool . Where I live the rivers are swollen from snow melt but this fall rock hounding will be a priority.
    Nice job thanks for the video .

    Excellent finds.... wondering if highway patrol ever run you guys off?

      So far, they’ve never bothered us. I know many other rockhounds in the area that go to this same spot also. I know some places it’s frowned upon. But no issues yet in our area.

    So cool I think my kids would love searching for these

    Wow! Really nice specimens would have thought the iron out would ruin them, but the short soaks seem to do well.

      Yea iron out does really well on cleaning them up. I think I finally got the process down that this pyrite needs. It was a battle way back when I first started collecting at this area.

    What do you do with them ? Also gold is almost always found with pyrite. Do you ever find gold.

      I just collect minerals as a hobby and also sell to those that want to purchase. Haven’t found any gold yet

    Is that garnets with them ?

    • @wrightrocks6303
      @wrightrocks6303  ปีที่แล้ว

      No garnets with them and haven’t seen any actual gold there
