Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, UK

NOTE: This video was taken before the second and third UK lockdowns. Date of travel : September 2020
Grange-over sands is a small town located on the north side of Morcombe Bay in Cumbria, England and south of the Lake District National Park, about 7 miles from Windermere. A short walk past the Park Road Gardens is a sign showing the way to the Promenade. This is one of a few ways onto the Promenade and will only take about 3minute walk before reaching the footbridge. The footbridge is crossing over the train tracks and gives you a nice panoramic view over the bay.
The promenade is now one of the main attractions of the town and welcomes hundreds of visitors to have a walk, skate, run and exercise and with its amenities it has something for everyone. The garden beds add a delightful and colourful scenery especially when the flowers are in bloom and compliments the view across the bay. There are also seating areas for those who just want to watch the day as it goes by or while eating your favourite snacks.
Grange-over-sands is definitely worth visiting to enjoy a pleasant Edwardian style town and, with a walk along the promenade, the feel of a sea-side village.

hi i lived in grange in the 60s and 70s i also worked there in late 80s at a garage must do a road trip bk up to my old stomping ground and take my dji friend lol also when i was a kid and even up until the late 80s there was no sea grass it was all rocks and sand up to the prom i see the bandstand years ago it had glass windows i shot a lot of them out with a catapult boy did i get into trouble

Brooo matindi ang daming baon ha. Greeny pa ang mga puno. Naka polo tshirt pa. Daming flowers. Swans and birds. Lakas lang maka dugong bughaw ng mga parke dyan. Bro ikaw na dugong bughaw.. hehehehe :) pa ride naman pag nagawi kame diyan.. ng maka sabit sa pag pasyal.. mahirap transpo lang ubos datung sa bulsa hehehehehe :)
