I remember this in the beginning.
Love this!
I saw The Specials and The Beat in the Stardust club in Dublin in 1981.
It was my first ever gig and I was 16 🤩
We climbed on top of a huge speaker and stomped the night away.
It was so amazing and remains one of my favourite gig memories ever.
Sadly and tragically a month to the day later the club burnt down and many lives lost 💔
This performance is even more special now.

Terry is singing as well now as he was in 1979. I wish they’d tour Australia- I can’t get to the UK for at least another year. Then again, it’s 2020- no one’s going anywhere. Stay HOME so we can get out quicker.
I'm probably saying what you already know but; Just for the record. They toured Aust in 2009 and 2016. Seeing them at The Enmore was one of the BEST GIGS I've been to. Sang my lungs out and skanked so hard I busted the meniscus in my left knee.
Sadly now Terry's gone The Specials are no more. At least we had them back again since they reformed. RIP Terry Hall you were a true artist and one of a kind.
@@theselector4733 I didn’t know they toured and now I feel sick. It’s really hard to find out about tours living in Canberra: no one comes here or else you find out AFTER the tour. News is hidden behind pay walls and newspapers cost $6. One of the myriad of reasons I’m going to emigrate to the UK.
@@mindrolling24 Shit man, sorry I made u feel sick. BAD MANNERS toured here a few months back. Too keep up with the latest you can subscribe to a gig newsletter. It's worth it if you're into live gigs.

Wow...I live in Northern Ireland and just got one hell of a jolt back to Kelly's in Portrush in my teens. The beer reference is spot on. Those Saturday nights were the days my friends.
