I honestly think that you didn't do justice to this song. It talks about the longingness, worrying and waiting for your loved one. In some way, with your version, the essence of the song is gone. This is constructive criticism and I don't mean to offend or hurt your feelings by giving you negative feedback. Singers, should always consider why was a song written like this, what's the general feel of that song and what it's trying to tell us. It's not just about how beautiful it would sound. This is being shallow because you're only focusing on what you think is pleasing to hear. ASIN is one of my favorite singers because they sing songs with different concepts like for the environment, dreams in life, parents and many more. It would be wonderful if a lot of people would get to hear their songs by making song covers or whatever you call them these days. I just hope that the versions you create would not just focus on aesthetics but also the core of the song most importantly.
I beg to differ. The original has a mellow vibe which is kinda majestic and poetic to hear because it's ASIN. I'm not much a fan of their music, my cousins and uncles love their music. However, her version hindi naman nagkakalayo sa feels ng kanta. The essence is still there. The message isn't bastardized, it has same feelings with different vibe.Yeng's version has also the mellow and poetic vibes pero the arrangement is just different.
