Disney Date Night At Magic Kingdom! | Rides, Budget Friendly Dining Options & Fantasyland Fireworks

- In today's vlog we head to Disney World's Magic Kingdom for a date night! We've been working so hard on the nursery, we just wanted to go out and have some fun at Disney! We started with a Dumbo fastpass and then we rode The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh! We had dinner at Pinocchio's Village Haus, we split something so we could also try another budget friendly meal to show you guys some different options. Then we had second dinner at Pecos Bills, we liked the meal from here better and it was cheaper! Then we ended the night by watching the Happily Ever After Fireworks show in Fantasyland behind the carousel. It was the best end to the best date night! Sorry about that passion fruit comment guys! We totally thought that was one of the things we couldn't have, whoops! There are so many restrictions, we can't keep them straight sometimes, so we figured we'd just play it safe but now we know it's totally ok and beneficial during pregnancy. Jen, you do you! I’m very happy for you both and congrats for having a boy! Turkey legs in Disney are the best! I was 10 years old in Disney in ‘95, and fam of 4 ate 2 turkey legs a few times!!!

Angela Brown actually it’s referring to the actors who play Gaston, saying a person is “friends” with a character is code for what character they act as at a theme park. So the actors who play Gaston probably have their own table to sit at there.

You guys are an awesome couple! I started watching your channel a couple years ago when I was still living and working in Thailand. I've been back home in the States for over a year and I'm still hooked! 😍 If I may, I'd like to offer a quick bit of parental wisdom.... When your baby boy naps, do yourself and every babysitter you'll ever have a favor and have some noise going. Music, television, dishwasher, conversation at a normal level, all of these will help teach Baby to sleep regardless of what's going on. That way, he doesn''t startle and wake up every time he hears noise. (I just wanted to share while I had a moment before I forgot. 🤔😅) Keep up the great work you two! ❤️

More Winnie the Pooh trivia, the bear at the London Zoo that inspired the character was Canadian and named Winnie, short for Winipeg. The bear came to England as a mascot with troops during WW1.

I think that the best budget friendly option at Village Haus is the chicken parmesan pasta. It's $13.50 but since it also comes with a side salad I would say it's sharable. Plus it's better than that sandwich. Also they have penne pasta for $7.30

If you ever go on the Keys to th Kingdom Tour and do the 10 am one. The lunch stop will be at Pecos Bill Tall Tale and Inn. When you check in and get your name badge pin. You pre order what you want from there. My mom and me did the tour last year on Oct 29th. It felt werid and wonderful to be able to skip some lines. Our tour guide got us our own boat for the tour group on the Jungle Cruise, Then we went in through the Servant's Quarters in the Haunted Mansion. We also had a stretchingr room to ourselves. But after that we joined the main line to get on the doom buggies.
It's so good! Also with the topping bar, the amount of food you get for your buck is the best quick service deal in Magic Kingdom IMO. Loved it!

Wish I got to see you, I was there the day before. Was at Hollywood studios at the time you were in Magic kingdom.
My wife and I watched Wishes from that same spot right after we got engaged at Cinderella's Wishing well......such a magical place!
Vlog idea - doing Disney preggo! All the things you can ride while pregnant 😊 I'd also love to see some of the comfort stations they have for parents.
The thing I remember most about the Magic Kingdom was my first trip down mainstreet with my 10 year old daughter she looked up at me and said 'Dad this is a dream come true' that was awesome! Peace

Fantasy land is the perfect place to watch fireworks. It’s never extremely crowded and you get an amazing view.

Re: Winnie The Pooh - you can visit Ashdown Forest in East Sussex, England, which was the inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood. You can play poohsticks and there is also a shop/tea room/museum called Pooh Corner nearby. Somewhere to go if you make it back to this side of the pond!

First time watching the fireworks was so magical. Second time we “saw” them was after we got off of space mountain and walked through behind the castle and it was INCREDIBLE we timed it just right to walk through the finale... getting chills thinking about it!
I just have to say how much I love you guys for your obvious love for each other and your matched appreciation for all that is Disney and joy. I would love to meet someone with an equal appreciation for fun. thanks for all your posts and I will look for you during my trip in January 2020!

$11ish for 3 tacos, I think that’s considered cheap for Disney. Not bad. Especially you can make it worth a little tiny bit more of you really like on the toppings.
You can definitely load up on the toppings. I think there is some hack where you can order chips and a side of beef for incredibly cheap and then load up your deconstructed nachos at the topping bar.

@@TheTimTracker I noticed that and thought you should keep an eye on it. If it starts to get more than a waddle and more like a sailor's roll, get yourself checked. My midwife noticed my swaying gait was very pronounced and turned out I had Symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD). Congratulations and keep up the good work. Not going until April, but loving watching all your videos.

Also, I think you can ride everything that doesn’t have a height restriction. I went to WDW with both of pregnancies and didn’t feel super restricted on what I could ride. I think the only exception to that is the safari because it’s so bumpy. It does have a warning on it for those expecting a baby.

Loved watching the fireworks from over by small world. We were in line for the rapunzel lantern picture and had just gotten done taking the picture and started to head to the castle and they started going off. Loved them.

That chicken parm sandwich is actually one of my favorite quick service meals, lol! The bun has some sweetness to it and the flavor of the sandwich goes well with the fries. Simple but satisfying.

I had the biggest smile on my face when I heard Quasimodo singing 'Out There' during the fireworks display.
One time we were on barnstormer during the fireworks and since it was only our family and no one was in line, the workers just let us keep going, didn’t even stop us at the station. That was a great way to watch the fireworks!

Magic kingdom is lovely at night . But it's mad when u are trying to get out to get to the monorail. Esp closing time . And after the party events. The apple slush looked nice. The food looked nice. Love Winnie the pooh ride. It's so cute . X

While I love watching all the fancy resort tours, exclusive dining experiences and all, at the end of the day I know if I was planning a trip to Disney I know I could never dream of affording most of that. I love seeing what current quick service/cart options are at the parks (for better or for worse lol)

My favorite place to watch fireworks in Magic Kingdom is on the walkway leading up to Be Our Guest. I accidentally witnessed them while waiting for a reservation there in 2012 and oh boy, it was amazing.
