I've been playing monster hunter for 20 years, firebrands moveset reminds me of the flagship monster of monster hunter rathalos, I immediately thought of him
The fight was awesome. A fair amount of viewers commented on the need of more knock-back mechanics. Which I 100% agree with. It adds a layer of frustration for healers to get in range of party members getting blown away. It creates a sense of raw power for the dragon.
Nice to see you guys get another shout out from Steven on the stream too. The old Dungeons & Dragons player in me just loves the idea of different age categories and sizes for dragons. Steven showed us some concept art many years ago of one of the dragons and for scale there was a human standing beside it, the human came up to the claw on its foot. Things are looking good IMO and just hanging out for that A1 invite to kick in soon though the NDA will suck.
Did kasha mention Drag Racing? (swoon) after the dragon strafes, i think the fire line he did should continue to burn for 8-10 seconds. and the tail should have a kickback
@@LoreForged Do I win a question next time you talk to Steven? If so I want to know the name of the goddess of creation! Need to know for Adgron's backstory.
I thought everything was perfect, except the dragon wings texture seemed really off for a AAA game.. but the mechanics and everything else made up for that

Nice pull!!
WooooHooo!! Firebrand!! Was a great showcase!
Yes it was! Thanks for watching!
The mechanics of that fight look insane!!!!
Yes it sure did! I was so stoked to see a blend of some classic and unique mechanics!

Yes! That's great feedback! Especially if a knockback interrepts spellcasting, great mech to add!

The NDA goes buh bye Oct 25. Hang tough friend!
Another great one guys. More please!
Thank you Sir!
Doing a great job. Loreforged appreciate you guys.
Much appreciated!
I echo that sentiment
thought the fight was great!! The mechanics, the animations. Cant wait to test it and see zergs v. zerg with PVP and how that will change everything
Yes! That is the one big thing that was missing from the encounter - other groups vying for the loot! Such an awesome aspect of Ashes!

Yes he sure did!
….and this is far from the finished product! Great breakdown guys.
I know Spinny. It's so crazy that it looks this fun and still has so much development until its a final product. This game is really shaping up :)
First!
Big winner!

AAA game? Intrepid is indie devs bubba
Don’t worry! The wings will get there in time!
Guess it's a good thing this is an Indie Dev and not a AAA eh?
