I moved my 93-year-old mother into my home last year. In-home care provides the best, safest care available. But it costs me $6000 to $8000 per month!!! I did not save or plan for this. It is hard, lonely and exhausting. If you have a friend who is caring for their parent, check on them from time to time. It is hard, even if you have help - we are under a lot of pressure!

I've been taking care of my mom for years (and I have 4 kids under 10)... she just passed at 59. It is incredibly lonely, and ppl remind you how much they don't know what to say to support you. But you don't have to make your struggles palletable. Stay encouraged, my friend 🧡

I know plenty of fellow entrepreneurs stuck in a similar juggling act to Corean. If you can relate to today’s episode, I really hope you found it useful ❤

Such a good convo! We need to be talking more about it, especially in black/brown communities.

This sounds like an Alex Hormozi conversation. He’s all about charging stratosphere prices. I cannot afford it yet but it’s all good. God bless you both.

Yikes - thank you Corean for being so vulnerable, particularly when opening up on charging your initial clients. I appreciated watching this coaching session with Rachel.

I think some market analysis would be beneficial to help her become more comfortable with charging prices. You would not believe the cost that some speakers are charging that don’t have the credentials that she does AND to be able to be a launching pad for other certified speakers??
    That value is priceless.

This was for me! All of it! Lawd! Thank you Rachel! Under charging, trying to help others and meanwhile not getting what I need. 👏🏽🙏🏽

I watched for about an hour to understand how you scaled her business AND I GOT NOTHING THAT SCALES EXCERPT TO CHANGE HER PRICING TO 10 000 & SHORTEN THE 6 MONTHS TO 3 MONTHS. I feel like you held back alot and I just subscribed to your channel.

Well, pricing does come into play. Scaling is about increasing revenue without increasing costs. A part of that is adjusting pricing strategies then moving towards operations, expansion, etc
So we did get a snippet of it, for Corean, $750 for 6mths is $125/mth
No. She had to start there. Increase the offer, finetune the offer, and then move to the marketing/profit plan, etc
