On average, she takes 10% of earnings, but using *Lina Dineikiene's* system makes it much more hands-off. I conservatively follow her recommendations and market entry and exit points, and tbh this makes it fairly simple for me... I am convinced it's not just hard work but smart work :-)

You say it's a gift from the government but actually it's a con. You have already been taxed on the money inside an ISA, so for them to tax you again is just ridiculous. I know this is what they do with interest payment and money in GIA accounts. It is easier to achieve by using a pension cos it's untaxed, although you will be taxed when spending it. I thought you were going to teach us something new here, but there was nothing new unfortunately.

You can withdraw the investment at any point. That's the appeal of an ISA wrapper.

That doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't you do that in a SIPP instead? An ISA is not tax free, it is CGT free.
So much more achievable using a SIPP or work pension as it is tax free so making up that 1667 is WAY easier, especially for high earners.

ISA is for those investing in the UK. If you don't put the investment money in ISA, you pay taxes. That is the point I guess.
