Joy~Nostalg Wellness Wednesday: Easter Recollection (With Fr. Bill Kreutz)

The Joy~Nostalg Community held a Wellness Wednesday today, April 21, focusing on the topic of “Easter Recollection - Jesus Gives the Gift of Peace” with Fr. William “Bill” Kreutz, a Jesuit Priest and a New York native who spent his priestly ministry in the Philippines.
During the session, the Joy~Nostalg community reflected on some Resurrection stories from the Scripture such as the story of the Risen Jesus and Mary Magdalene at the tomb, the Risen Jesus joining two followers on their road to Emmaus, and the Risen Jesus meeting His Mother Mary during the “salubong”.
The Resurrection of Jesus reminds us of His promise of peace, new life and eternal hope. When times are difficult, Jesus is our refuge; He will bring us peace and comfort. More importantly, Fr. Bill encouraged the community to continue to pray for Jesus’ peace and blessings, and that we too, may bring joy and blessings as well for others.
