Who says they'd be allowed to? When intimacy in any form has been commodified, unless K's manager gets a cut, they're assigned to someone the manager can profit from. Actors and musicians are treated as though they're a business asset, requiring upkeep and maintained and used to make money for the whole infrastructure of the industry.
Ngl, when K described their Christmas plans, it was telling that their "significant other" was not a focus.
Anyways, it's all stupid; Actors are just people doing a job, with pros and cons compared to "the normals" doing their jobs. I love the personality Keanu puts out in interviews (consentual) and kinda love how campy they are when acting.
