Amazing piece, despite the poor quality you can hear the incredible power of his voice which seems to shatter the building!! The photos are so interesting too, my favourite is at 01:35! 😀
Thank you so much for this! Franco, as always, magnificent!❤️🔥 I have heard this aria all my life but never knew the English translation (I don’t know Italian) so when I read what Franco was singing I thought just a minute, what a thing to say about women! No wonder Franco never wanted to sing this role! LOL 😏
As much as I adore Corelli… he sings it trasnsposed a semitone down. So it’s a b flat in the acuto finale. Plus he’s supposed to be light and fun. Still I keep adoring him forever.

Non era di questa terra. Filatura e diminuendo - e tanto altro ancora - senza alcun umano paragone.
L'unico tenore che mi fa tollerare questa aria 😅

What about the studio recording? Is that a C sharp in the late release from 67?
Титаны оперы. Как же вас сейчас не хватает
Creative cadenza.
It's the Lauri-Volpi cadenza, some say.
Ho rilevato la non perfetta pronuncia della parola accento.
Per il resto, eccezionale !
Please! what happened with the recording of Ch'ella mí creda in 1955????????????
I'll have to fix it and upload it again, because I've been informed that the recording is distorted and is a semitone higher than it should be.
@FrancoCorelliInfoCenter Thank you very much.
