Just watch the slip indicator on that first turn in the vid. First sign that the pilot knows what he's doing. No wobble, smooth as hell. Well done, guys. :D
IMO multicrew is the most underrated feature of DCS. There's nothing I enjoy more than sharing a virtual cockpit with my brother. Even just taking someone on an aerobatic joyride in the L-39 is fun as hell.
i love the feature, i just wish you didnt need to own the module as the passenger, i could easily convince my non flight sim friends to be my copilot, but i sure as hell cant convince them to spend 100$ on that experience.
Multi-crewing attack helicopters is friggin awesome! I still remember one of my earliest experiences with multiplayer flightsims back in '95 or '96. A buddy/colleague and I linked two PCs together via serial port (no LAN or internet back then for us) and played DI's Apache Longbow coop for hours and hours. Good times!
AT-6 Spiral the Soviets made it radio guided so as to make it slightly faster over the wire guided types like the AT-3 and 4. Only bad thing is the radio signals can be jammed if the frequency is known to the enemy. I know they have a rotating set of frequencies so the first missile uses one and the 2nd jumps to a different one so as to reduce the chance of being jammed.
My favourite TH-cam channel keeps serving up that hot content, and when I get bored I binge watch the Silent Hunter 3 playlists like its the Sopranos. Keep it coming Cdr. Wolfpack!
How awesome was that!!! 😲 just excellent watching you both, really looking forward to seeing more of this in the future, Casmo throwing that big beast around 👍😯 brilliant work guy's 🐺🚁
Lord Wolfpack, you are my favorite sim TH-cam creator, I'm sorry I can't afford to put any money your way, but rest assured, all the content is greatly appreciated! Onwards and upwards!
Wouldn't be interesting if they made a tank simulation where every player is a crew member. That would be four players for most modern mbts and three for T-72 and other Soviet/Russian tanks. Man what a c......f... that thing would be :-)))
When you do multicrew you should have voice changers so it sounds like you are talking to each other thru the headsets Very cool with those guided missiles! Keep em coming!!!!
Wish I had a pilot like him in BF2 I managed to fly choppers pretty well, but I actually think flying gunships in video games is harder than the real thing, because you don't have the proper controls, 360 view of a real head and no body to feel motion, and often no co-pilot to operate the weapons.
the one thing i rly hate in dcs and IL2 is that unrealistic robo zoom, in cocpit ok (you can lean closer), but you are "sniping" something outside and see what you cant se normaly cose its to far, and you cant do in real life , and this is called sim...
Another fun episode flashes by in an instant. I think Comrade Wolfpack345 you need to be practicing those landings. It's probably my imagination but your airspeed always seems high on final approach?
So got two questions.... 1) Still unsure how you two coordinated the weapons....looks like the Nose Gunner kinda sits idle if the pilot is firing? 2) Where the hell is the Beer holder???😁
So the process to fire ATGMs in the Hind goes like this : - the pilot-operator (the "gunner") lines up the target with the sight and selects a missile to fire - the pilot-commander in the rear seat can see a cross on his gunsight that tell him where the PO is aiming, and aligns his own crosshair with it - the PO gets a shoot cue (red light) in his sight when the helicopter is properly aligned - when he estimates he is in range, he fires the missile (or tells the pilot to fire, both can do it) - the PO must then get keep the sight on the target until missile impact The PO is not involved in the employment of dumb weapons such as the 30mm canon, gun pods or rockets. However he manages countermeasures and helps (a lot) with situational awareness, since the primary sensor of the Hind is the good old Mk. 1 eyeball. He can also fly the helicopter in an emergency, but he only gets very basic instrumentation. PS: there's no beer holder but plenty of room for vodka in the cargo hold.
yes, but unfortunately both players need to own the module (you cant loan it to someone who doesnt want to pay 100$ to sit in a passenger seat), and its only for the f-14 and the hind as far as i recall.
Wouldn't firing wire or laser guided missiles at trucks like that actually be hurting your own countries economy more, idk about Soviet missiles they're probably cheaper and shittier but a hellfire missile costs about $150,000 while a Ural truck (although incredibly difficult to find the cost price the Russians or Soviets produced them at) couldn't have been more than $10,00-50,000 so for every 1 missile you fire to destroy 1 truck they can build at least 3 trucks for the same price as you buying a new missile, obvs this is just a game it doesnt matter but it does make you wonder how using a hellfire on a terrorist hilux in the desert is hardly an effective use of taxpayer money 😂
Be sure to head on over and subscribe to Casmo! th-cam.com/users/CasmoTV
I will have more MI-24 videos coming out soon.
Casmo thanks for your service!! 😀
Had a great time. Let’s do it again!
Respect for your flying skills Sir. 😎👍
Were you nervous having someone as obviously drunk in the aircraft with you as the Wolfpack ?
Subscribed!
@@lordchive8944 yeahhhh!
Be honest - you wouldn't have let Wolfpack land that thing if it was a real helicopter - even if he had received pilot training!
Just watch the slip indicator on that first turn in the vid. First sign that the pilot knows what he's doing. No wobble, smooth as hell. Well done, guys. :D
Right? It would have been cool to see Casmo's inputs, but I guess that isn't possible from the front seat.
US Helo = Fortunate Son switch. Russian Helo = Fan, Activated. Pull pitch.
And Gruppa Krovi
I wish you could do BF 110 multicrew with Tortuga power. You guys are so much fun
We need to do something again soon.
I like the blend. The pilot added a lot to the video. Love to hear his critique on the Hind.

@@auqanova sorry to necro, might be an easier sell with the 50% first-time purchase discount, that and the two week trials
Excellent training run. Looks like you got a top notch pilot there.
Keep up the great work bro.
Thanks!

Co-op is tight😎👍
Fun interaction between the 2 of you.
Nice how he dropped the stick on you just before landing, rofl😆
3:47 the atgm fart caught me off guard.
Why the 'Yikes!', Wolfpack? You and Casmo came back with both wings still attached. That's victory!

Really enjoying the Hind and watching you learn it... Casmo seems like a great person for you to learn from! Great work fellas
Modern day version of the Sturmovik. Flying tank.
Crikey Wolfpack, I do swear I heard your knees rattling together on that landing! lol
Good channel bro, casmo sent me
Thanks man! We all need to do something sometime!

Casio got my subscription. One hell of a good chopper pilot. Love the sound of the hind.
Hope to see more with Casmo!!
I really like this helicopter

Where can I sign up indeed👍
Check out IL-2 Tank Crew. Offers just that for WW2 tanks
th-cam.com/video/DxY-kZ65yyA/w-d-xo.html
I'm hoping for something like that in IL2 tank crew. Since you can already man every station it should be doable. Right?
Yes, Every station can be manned by a person in Tank Crew.
Great job bro! You are wonderful Petrovich)))
When you do multicrew you should have voice changers so it sounds like you are talking to each other thru the headsets
Very cool with those guided missiles!
Keep em coming!!!!
Can't get enough of those missile pov shots
wow you sound just like Spudknoker!!!
I'm looking forward to a coop where you man the underslung chain gun.
Once upon a time in a far away country I was a door gunner on a Huey.
That landing gear is certainly a tad stiff causing the hind to roll on landing super easely
You landed safely, everything else is a maintenance issue. :)
Nice front seat landing ;)
That sight legit gives me cancer
Wish I had a pilot like him in BF2

Great vid!!!!
Хороший полет, хорошая работа!
Like video
I’m loving this Mann keep it up!!
GET TO ZE CHOPPA
Shouldnt the Text on the control surfaces and such be in russian?
You can change it.
Why use missiles on trucks? They make perfect target for unguided weapons! Unarmed and easy to kill.
practice, gotta get good with the missiles before risking your life against aa with them.

Your not looking at a 2d flat screen with zero depth perception in real life. Concessions have to be made because it is on a computer.
i lovw to fly the hind. it is like a freaking flying tank it take hits like no other
The only other helicopter I terms of tank I was that competes with it is the Mi-28
Another fun episode flashes by in an instant. I think Comrade Wolfpack345 you need to be practicing those landings. It's probably my imagination but your airspeed always seems high on final approach?
love helicopter videos
What is the reflector sight behind the front window for, since the ATGMs are the only weapons the gunner controls?
So got two questions....
1) Still unsure how you two coordinated the weapons....looks like the Nose Gunner kinda sits idle if the pilot is firing?
2) Where the hell is the Beer holder???😁
The only weapon operated by the front seater is the ATGM. The gun and rockets are all handled by the pilot in the rear.
So the process to fire ATGMs in the Hind goes like this :
- the pilot-operator (the "gunner") lines up the target with the sight and selects a missile to fire
- the pilot-commander in the rear seat can see a cross on his gunsight that tell him where the PO is aiming, and aligns his own crosshair with it
- the PO gets a shoot cue (red light) in his sight when the helicopter is properly aligned
- when he estimates he is in range, he fires the missile (or tells the pilot to fire, both can do it)
- the PO must then get keep the sight on the target until missile impact
The PO is not involved in the employment of dumb weapons such as the 30mm canon, gun pods or rockets.
Can you ripple fire them?? Fire one, and halfway trough fire another that you redirect after target 1 is destroyed.
Awesome. Moar pls. :)
4:47
i have to ask a thing
did you have traumatic flashbacks of other runs because the trees? beacuse i bet you have some fear about them lol
Why does a Russian helicopter have an American C-4 lamp (map light)?
Russian T-72 tanks have user manuals written in broken English. First hand experience with that one.
Great team
That was fun.
I enjoyed this one even better that u boat series
Wait what, DCS has multi crew? thats awesome.
yes, but unfortunately both players need to own the module (you cant loan it to someone who doesnt want to pay 100$ to sit in a passenger seat), and its only for the f-14 and the hind as far as i recall.
That looks fun. I can't wait for the AH-64D module.
Next time show your landing and then Casmo's.
I loved it
Dislike for no Кандагар song in the intro!
( JK of course)
