This one is right down my alley. I worked as a brakeman/Flagman on the SCL. SCL trainman ID # 175866.
It's nice to see 3 track era Collier on youtube again after e44e33's channel randomly vanished.
I wonder how many of these Florida locations we’ve seen in Danny Harmon’s excellent videos? @DistantSignal
Many of his locations are shown, but these were taken back almost 40 years ago! Visions you can no longer see today! Thanks for supporting our channel!
Really enjoyed this video..brings back memories for me when I railfanned back in the 70s and 80s. Thanks again!
Glad you enjoyed it, the 1970's and 80's were magical time in railroading!
I hope you will make an equal movies like this one about the Southern Pacific Railroad.....
Awesome and informative video....I'm a Chessie baby but was always captivated when the occasional predecessor equipment would come through.....❤❤❤
There were so many colorful and interesting railroads in this region, often times you would never know what railroad would show up next.
The Chessie Cat Scheme is among our favorite, but we also like the ACL, SAL, Family Lines and Seaboard Coast Line.
great informative video.
The SCL merger happened in 1967, not 1963. Very informative video, nonetheless.
1:00 i don’t live far from here, i live next to the old FG&S line
We all know what happened to the east coasts but we all most their old days but at least some have been preserved to keep generations alive to see what happened to them.
Family Lines paint didn't exist until 1976-77. Not 1972.
Thanks Jeffrey for the correction and your support of our channel!
