Great stuff Jason!! Those shots you got are amazing!! I’ve been thinking about getting a polarizer for my photos I take I’m definitely leaning that way! Great stuff sir looking forward to more videos!
I forgot to mention the polarizer. Yes they are so helpful. I prefer to not take midday photos, but I spent the entire day on the mountain and so I put my polarizer to good use. That filter, along with ND filters are a must. I am going to do an episode in the next month or so on ND Filters. You might already have an ND filter and may already know all of this, but just in case, if you take a peek at the following episode (link below), go all the way to the end of the episode when I show my "favorite" images from the day, the third image at (21:50) of Big Bear Lake shows the beautiful and smooth effect the ND filters can make. The first picture (21:32) is of the same lake without an ND filter. I couldn't use an ND because the leaves on the orange bushes were moving and blurred. But you can compare the difference on the water surface between the first image (21:32) and the third image (21:50) with the orange bushes, and see what a dramatic difference it makes. th-cam.com/video/Q27h0L0wFg8/w-d-xo.html
@@JasonStewartPhotography thank you I appreciate that I’ll keep n eye out for that video. I do have my nd filters I mainly got them for video but now I’m starting to enter the realm of manual photo shooting so I have started using them for photo as well. I keep hearing people talk about the polarizers so I’m definitely considering one. I’ll definitely check out the video you sent over!
Wow Jason! Really spectacular video! On top of the world, above it all, seemed so peaceful, and the most amazing conditions to work with. Beautifully filmed and amazing images throughout this video.
