"Zouaves" as you pronounce it in the beginning sounds like a mexican city hahah :-) Amazing review otherwise! Thanks for the great feedback. I've been looking at getting some French for myself (since I play France whenever I can), and thanks to your great overview I now know what to play. Great work! You should pronounce Zouaves like Zoo-ah-v. The "e" and "s" at the end are silent. Same for Briscards, you pronounce it Bree-scar. The "d" and "s" are both silent. For Chasseurs, they are pronounced "shass-her" Now can't wait for your O-12 overview :D
I love your presentations, also I loved the Battle Reports: 2 players with one Judge perfect! as a viewer you always see what is happening, please do another one soon.
The "Zouaves" were a French regiment composed of African Soldiers. The name come from the Algerian Arabic and means "To crawl", hence the "sapper" caracteristic I think :) Other countries had temporary regiments of Zouaves, like the Americans during the Civil War (Moslty from Lousiana : Tigers zouaves, Coppen's Zouaves battalion, Louisiana zouaves) Fantastic review, thank you !!!!
So I'm just getting into the game and it seems like half of the models in the armies I'm interested in are OOP. Is there any chance they will bring the molds back?

Could you add links to the Facebook page and USAriadna painted proxies that you mention?
Pretty sure Zouaves had E/M mines back in N3 and N2.
What's your number 1 favorite army then?
Sacrebleu ! ( ᐛ )و
