@@LilithStormchaser Well it is a Japanese cooking channel so, I guess it's somewhat related...? TH-cam Ads can be strange, like one time I was looking up a movie trailer and the got the trailer I looked up as the ad for the video itself. Meta.
And yes the original Iron Chef is still the best.

How much money did you pay for the ad? Any time I click a video even tangentially related to ffxiv i get this gmv as the ad!
This current campaign was a free ad credit promotion from Google. Ads should finish very soon. Generally speaking though, it looks like $10 or so can get a lot of impressions and views. Just depends on how it is targeted. If you want subscriptions and likes you have to narrowly target the ads to your audience, though that will get fewer views. I may do this again in a very limited way in the future. It’s been an interesting learning experience but this is something I do for fun. When I talked to a Google Ads consultant about all this he said my results have been unusually good. He was a bit surprised. So typical ad campaigns may not do as well as this one did.

Yes. Teminite and Jonah Hitchens are awesome. I was also really pleased at how fast they responded when I asked permission to use their music.
