Yes! I found it! Remembered this version from the 80's, but never knew who made it. I was sure it wasn't the Gwen McCrae version, but it got to a point where I wasn't sure anymore, until now. Great upload.
Ummm...interesting...I was told on good authority that the lead vocalist is Lenny Henry. However, I accept I am probably wrong. That brother Alex Charles does bear a striking resemblance to Lenny Henry.

Check out the young Lenny Henry. What a great cover. I actually prefer this version. It was an anthem back in the day.
