I didn't even know that you was able to until I just did a cutscene debug and ended the level as soon as I saw angel island I squealed, and then I thought "wait would it load the full level if I use the checkpoint because games have codings that reset the level after a objective or mini game and then I did it and I just died inside..."

This sounds like a semi-placeholder imo, it’s like a placement mix of the full angel island theme until it’s fully composed. I know it sounds different from the original sonic 3 one but you just never know in these cases. If it is a placeholder however then I wonder what a full remake of the song would sound like.

Distort the Artist I liked the remix but the original is just so much more energetic and gives you and pumps up the adrenaline, it gives you a speed feeling, a Supersonic feeling.
Lazasun But none of the other remixes in Mania sound exactly like the originals. They have added instruments and melodies. That’s why this feels unfinished.
JakeTheGamer Now that I've listened to both versions I kinda see what people mean. This is act 1 after all and in other Mania tracks act 1 is a little bit more different that act 2 (prime example is Hydrocity.) But whatever.
