In my opinion, despite most of British main Railways are now electrified with overhead catenary or third rail, there are more diesel multiple units than their electric mates. In a world that could be unliveable in the next few years we have to change a lot of things to something cleaner, even trains, which I consider one of the most eco-friendly transport system

Now all the new trains have bright LED’s rather than conventional headlights. Also workers have trackside technology to let them know when a train is due
I've always found it odd, that as a Nation that has been hell bent on health and safety issues the last 20 years, we still allow trains to go by at eye level this fast.. xD

Yeah it’s a shame. However GWR and LNER kept the signature yellow front on their new Class 800s which is pretty cool I think
