The show is showing Lucie build his own family. Chloe is his love, Dan is the brother he loves to piss off. Linda is the older sister he goes to for advice. Ella and Trixie are like little sisters/daughters.

They had a guy that looked just like Trixie to play her father but he was replaced by Kevin Alexandro. It happened because that guy left the series right after pilot was filmed, so they had to cut all scenes with him

When Trixie came in, you could see the joy and amusement wash over Eve's face. I think she truly misses being a mother, having her kids around to cause shenanigans. No wonder she's the author of 'organized chaos', she had to be back then to keep a family safe and in line.
I got to be honest I feel as though eve is seriously underrated In the show. Especially in that scene where she throws her self in front of Trixie. Like she didn’t even know that child and yet there she is the world’s first woman and mom and she is already protecting a child that is not hers from danger, that was freaking awesome of her!
My favourite part when he says: Please don’t touch that, I don’t know where you’ve been😂😂😂 And when he throws that doll to Trixie. Gosh, the best part of the show when Trixie and Lucifer are talking😂😂
I think one of my favorite characters was Eve. I love how her character approached everything with a weird sense of innocence even as she embraced the debauchery. You could she see she has a good heart even if her mind is conflicted. Then again, despite the comedy aspects most of the characters are layered and complicated and I love this show so much.
I'm so happy they developed her character past the 'less than one dimensional' personality she has in the Bible, where she's simply the Original Sinner and Mother of all Humanity(not to mention bringer of painful childbirth, and periods,lol). I know a lot of Lucifans have described her as 'dumb', but I don't think she is...as you said, she starts out naive as all Hell, pardon the pun, but she is *far* from dumb. I think one of the things that made her such an ideal partner for Maze *is* the fact that she isn't world wise, and therefore, hasn't developed the cold cynicism that's part of who Maze is...she can help her see that not every one deserves to be stabbed,lol. That there are still good ppl in the world. And Maze can have Eve's back when the bad ppl *do* come around, bc Eve's gonna try to see only the good in them. Eve's lack of hesitation to protect Trixie's life by shielding her with her own reminds me very much of my own mom. I'm 42, live on my own, and yet, every time my mom brings me back to my house, no matter where we've been, she always makes sure I get in the door before she drives off...a mother's love for her children, her drive to protect them, never,ever dies.
I like to think that lucifer doesn’t like children because it has been so long since he has seen and dealt with children, cause they all go to heaven and so he doesn’t see them in hell
I love how every time she runs to hug him he yells in fear and puts his hands up in surrender haha he's brilliant 😂😂 I also love his nicknames for her "offspring" and "urchin" 😂😂 xxx
