I always fit baxi's, fitted one of these Friday. Why have you got a filter on the flow?? I do prefer the previous model 800 series.. at the moment. Clean job 👍 Not a fan of crimped fittings on domestics tho, can't beat good ol soldering.
Nice fitting job and information. BTW...a bit ironic saying bend your knees for lifting and then not using eye protection when using the grinder. Look after yours eyes, you cannot buy replacements.
Did you wire both IFOS and an Opentherm controller together with this boiler? I was told it should only be one or the other. I'm about to purchase a Baxi 836, I have Tado wired thermostat control with Opentherm and a full set of Tado Smart TRV's, but would be interested to know if I could fit the IFOS too for extra efficiency.
