My Canon printer is one of my most beloved homeschool items. My husband refills the ink (monthly or bi-monthly) from a 3rd party printer ink. It has saved us hundreds of dollars, and our printer is still going strong after 5 years of continual use.

I didn’t have the triangle pencils, but I loved the thick leaded mechanical pencils!
It’s so much simpler than having to sharpen pencils.
I love your suggestions! I had one year a mama suggest one of those date stamps and I love that! We have used ours for a few years and it just helps me so much since my kids rarely date their work.

Thank you for all the great suggestions! You might have just sold me on those mechanical pencils. Having to stop and sharpen a pencil or when the lead breaks in the middle of writing something can be distracting and frustrating.

I’m going to get some menu folders! That’s genius!! I want the Epson eco-tank so bad. Was telling my husband that is on my dream wishlist if we ever have money to spend! Lol 😂
It was for sure a special buy. They do go on sale, so maybe watch the prices. We saved up for several months and grabbed it on sale. The menus really are helpful for so many things. I love that they are dry erase.

We're using A Gentle Feast for the first time this year...and I'm thinking that the menu idea would be very helpful
Yes! We love them for our hymn, memory verse, recitation pieces, and folk song. I just swap things at every 6-12 weeks when needed. My boys are movers and twiddle with things. These menus keep everything in good shape and easy for them to view during our morning time each day. Highly recommend. Just be sure that you use card stock or filling the menu is quite frustrating.

What markers are you using in the menus? I absolutely loath cleaning up dry erase on laminating sheets and the folders 😂 if it’s not immediately done boom arm workout 😂😂😂

Yes girl! A Magic Eraser is an old public school trick I brought into our home. I use it on both our chalkboards and our dry erase boards. I don't even have a regular eraser for them.
