This senior editor needs to get a lot more excited! Overall, super exciting to see this in development!!
Also RIP Power Steering Pump
I was excited, just nervous to be driving the vehicle for the first time. It drive like a dream, though. Very smooth. -John Hitch, Fleet Owner senior editor
And this is how you end up with a fleet of trucks the drivers don't want. Send pretty boi with a manicure who has never worked a day in his life drive the truck in a parking lot
Any videos showing the packer running some cycles?
Pretty sad that Mack still can't fix that cab squeaking noise.
Most likely bouncing seats rubbing against back
@@michaelc7014 nope. My truck makes the same sound and it's under the cab. All of our macks do it.
@@ericp.1508 yes that crap kills me. Front loader driver here.
That would drive me nuts
It's so annoying! Omg when on Bluetooth headphones whoever I'm talking to is like what heck is that noise. Like two pieces of metal rubbing all dang day
The cab cannot make that much noise when there is not motor. That is annoying.
I love how quiet it is. The fossil fuel-powered garbage trucks around here are so heinously, obnoxiously noise-polluting.
pure made in usa ,something good remained
Needs a rubber mount on the cab
ill take a functional barebones chassis & slap on a pop out camper
Way to quiet.
3:27 “oh shit, I broke the truck”
This guy doesn't have a CDL
. Looks & acts terrified. Still not buying into if electric trucks can actually operate in huge hill cities like Seattle or San Fran & also service 1000 stops on a route without running out of charge.
No emissions ........ except for all the emissions from the arduous mining for the lithium ... and that of the coal-fired power plants .... Key factors are always so conveniently omitted 🤔
About time they added a top ac system, I and alot of my crew members would be dying of heat exhaustion in the 2017 scorpion Macks.
With a price tag of 750k hope your state has some serious grant programs. Good warranty program. Limited to 110 mile distance. Currently only working with limited bodies and not a good fit for rural routes.
THE BEAUTIFULL TRUCK IN THE WORLD.
Idk how driver drive with the seat jumping up and down. I slam the seat to the bottom no bounce no headache
I slip seat. Come back and the seats a mile high. Then homie says the lane control sensor keeps going off.....drop it to the floor dumbass, you'll have more control.
🎉
So you make the truck electric but hooking up the back up camera seemed to be too much of a challenge? 🤔 I don't know something seems off
my guy why are you so close to the steering wheel
Who is building the body? How many configurations will it come in? and what's the Range loaded and charge time?
It's a Heil body
@@michaelc7014 What one? Or a special build new one for this truck?
@@navyav8r653 It is a Heil 5000 body.
Those cup holder are pretty bad when you stop your coffee goes flying

Badass
