Pillow will not give that safety feeling. You should always hold the baby so that the baby will feel the touch of mom and feels safety. Coming to the bath. It is an exercise for both mom and baby. As in olden days we did not have these gyms the only exercise new moms get is doing these kind of this. All the things which we do with our hands makes the child feel comfort and safety and most importantly will know the touch of mom
