    is it just me or does cinecom's effects not match their production value? They're great for beginners but I just feel like they could do better most of the time.

    • @chrisgee2610
      @chrisgee2610 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think cinecom is a great place to start. But they know that, so they won’t get into „real“ vfx work. Or maybe they can’t do it.

    • @mrglowtm
      @mrglowtm 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      They mostly use Premiere to do their VFX, which isn't a good idea. They have a lot of the concepts down really well but the execution isn't the greatest.

    • @jhnart0647
      @jhnart0647 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mrglowtm I think theyre trying to make it non threatening and easy to understand for beginners. Lots of the effects they do were not done in premier pro but its a lot harder to teach nuke, houdini or mayer that it is to give a 10min tutorial on premier pro which is just sliders and buttons. As a starting point they are really welcoming and encouraging for people getting into vfx but i agree, the effects that they produce are not as high quality as those in the film or those that can be found on other tutorials

    • @georgefilmanimation
      @georgefilmanimation ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They do most of their effects days after the effect happens, so usually they only have a day or two to do everything before their consistent upload day.

    This effect is more realistic using Blender. I saw the cinecom tutorial too, but they did the effect using only After Effects. At the beginning I started learning only Ae, however after a while, I realized that if I want to work with 3D effects, I would need to learn how to use a 3D program, so that’s why I’m learning Blender too and I’m so satisfied! I’m still using After Effects for composition and rendering, because it’s so much faster than Blender.

    What is nuts is the movie is like 20 years old, to me the best movies were from '80 to like 2005, then CGIs became more and more present, and now you have like 5% of real footage in blockbuster movies with no innovation, just more particles, more filters, more polygons etc. :(
