PSALMS, Oh what a comfort! David was a man of many sorrows, so when I read Psalms, I no it is from people who really struggled but kept their faith thru it all. Praise the LORD!!!
I too don't care for dramatization or music with the Bible. This is my favorite Bible Books on TH-cam. It does have music, but is MUCH lighter and without interfering rythms. There are a few different readers amongst the books. My favorite is the English accent reader of Jeremiah and Lamentations. I wish she did them all. The other Books are good too though. Two Preachers youtube channel has the Bible. If I remember correctly, there is no music at all and no dramatization. I don't care for the reading as much at all. The light music in the background of tmantz is actually very soothing. My cat even gravitates to it. It is a classical type, very nonintrusive and soft. It actually helps me focus on the words in a study manner and is conducive to falling asleep. I am VERY picky about music with reading or talk or music in falling asleep, yet the Bible and the soft music in background here actually helps me. It is compatible neurologically with focus, relaxation and sleep. It reminds me of neuro programming tapes i had years ago. The volume of the music is MUCH lighter than the voice of the speaker.
