Ving's portrayal of Melvin, was the best part of the film, by far 💯
Hes such a good character actor typically playing gangster types you forget that hes a classically trained actor who graduated from Julliard. Respect.

Ving Rhames plays Melvin, a former thug, O.G.(Original Gangster) and an ex convict who is trying to reform his life and owns a landscaping business. Melvin is the type of man who is intending to set an example for young punks and teenagers so they would not make the same mistakes which Melvin had made himself
