Halito!! Blessing from an Alabama Choctaw the Great Creator is So Proud.. U All are doing a good Language Project to keep the Spirit our People's Language Alive..FromA pastor from Ft BraggNC
I'm full blood choctaw. So good to hear singing in my language . We would hear it when we went to church as a child. But now I moved and go to white people church. So beautiful as always.
Well Good God Amighty! I sho' believe I heard Old Man Bishop Wilson chant this very same Choctaw Hymn over at BlackJack Missionary Baptist Church in Muskogee County (near Taft) Oklahoma back around 1963. I was 5 years old back then and couldn't wait to get back to my Granny's Farmhouse down the road where I had built a small turtle pin and corralled 5 or 8 Terapins!
My girlfriends’ mom had her name changed n Choctaw bible removed from her upbringing...!?? Her Daughters’ faith still remains 🙏🥰🌹 Thanks for letting me know more about her family tree ❤️
Hello!!! So happy to randomly find this channel. I'm Choctaw through my maternal grandfather but can't connect to the Dawes roll. Been in alot of contact with the genealogist at the OK band. So happy to find a channel devoted to Choctaw culture. Mitakuosin!

What are they saying
They are singing to God in Chakta or Choctaw. On my dad's mother's side, we are Choctaw and Lumbee.
