      The vikings reached America during 10th centuries and they even settled there.
      They discovered Iceland and Greenland. from there they went to America. In fact they discovered 10 century viking sword in America.
      This is a FACT.
      You can say they were grandmaster in ship building for lone sea voyages and navigation a way long before the europeans did specially Vanice and Genoa. Colombus is from genoa. What he did is he didn't discover but colonized it for the europeans which they stole the land from the natives spectacularly. So you can say they wrote your history mate.

    It is very possible that the Templars, or at least a few of them, came to the New World. Educated people at that time knew there was land to the west of Iceland and Greenland. The Vikings landed at L'Anse Aux Meadows in Newfoundland, and there are stories of them landing in other locations in North America. We also have native American stories about outsiders who visited, as well as stories of the "white Indians." Additionally, there is some evidence of other visits to the New World at or slightly later time periods. Perhaps the most famous is that of the Kensington Runestone found in Minnesota.
    The information presented in this video, while made more dramatic for TV, is worth considering. The historical stories, maps, other clues, and a small amount of physical evidence, certainly demand consideration. While there is not enough to say conclusively that all the stories are true, there is enough that one cannot logically dismiss things out of hand.

    • @PanzerDave
      @PanzerDave 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@johnhill1231 You ask an excellent question. There are a number of possibilities as to why we don't know where they are. First, it is possible that they never built them. Perhaps conditions were not what they were hoping for and the left to return, or go somewhere else. It is also possible that something happened to them before they had a chance to build them. Maybe they were attacked, or wiped out by crop failure, illness, etc. If we look at the history of the early settlements in North America, the first settlers had very high attrition rates.
      It is also very possible that we just haven't found them yet. If we look at history, we see that it takes quite some time to find things. We are still finding new discoveries at Pompeii, Luxor, Giza, Crete, etc.
      It is too soon to say with any certainty that they were here. There just isn't enough evidence. This theory is however, worth consideration. It took many decades before we were able to say for sure that the Vikings made it here. I am sure that IF the Templars did come to North America, it will be quite some time before we know for sure.

    Of course it is a fact that the Templars were there, they were even in the South American areas where they lived friendly with the tribes and had their trust. They mapped the entire coastline and later Christopher Colmbus would use a ruse to obtain the map and sail to America with the cross of the Templars in order to gain the trust of the South American tribes, whom he subsequently massacred for their gold. it is well known the templar fleet left La Rochelle the night before the raid and arrest of the Templars in France; so saying they never left Europe is an obvious dishonest statement at best, because they say the fleet disappeared the night before the raid and arrest and escaped with their great treasure; the Templars War flag was the Skull and Cross bones, which was pawned off by liars of history as merely Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of the high Seas but they were not pirates they were the Knights Templar fleet waging war against the Crown on the high seas they were tipped off before the raid by their insiders and escaped the reach of the crown, they had over 9,000 properties around the world according to Addison in his History of the Knights Templar so they could have went to any number of locations around the world and set up their Order and continued on ! It is well known they continued in Scotland, and in Portugal and Spain, and some say Sweden and Switzerland also ! You should do some more extensive research ! There is a book written by a woman who was an archival researcher in the Vatican and she tells you what she discovered in the Vatican's secret archive: That the Pope gave them a trial and acquitted them of all charges and allowed them to continue on ! Things come down to economic decisions. The vikings had a small colony, but other areas had better farming and trade prospects, so it lost out to the competition. Some have known of places and visited, but unless it can be made to work economically as opposed to other locations, a lasting colony won't exist.

    it is not true that "most of them were murdered" as you say: the Fleet of Templar ships docked at La Rochelle France is known to have left in the middle of the night the day before the raid and arrest of Jaq De Moley and the knights he brought with him to the meeting with the King of France; the Templars were given permission by the Pope to continue on in Spain and Portugal under a different name, which was the "Knights of Christ" which Christopher Columbus was a member that is why he flew the Templar cross , it was then the Knights of Christ cross ! The Templars had an empire of their own and were more powerful than some kings, who were afraid of them; they owned 9,000 properties around the world Read the History of the Knights Templars by Addison, published in the 1800's around 1842-1847 ; and get some real information about them !

    In 1312 only the seat of the Knights Templar Grand Mastery was transferred to the Portuguese headquarters 4 days before Jacques de Molay's death (original documents in Portugal, today's seat). There it was continued without interruption until today, independently of the Council under the protection of the Portuguese Kingdom, today 'Ordem do Templo OSMTH Grão-Priorado de Portugal'. Attached is “POLAND GRAND COMMANDERY Templars - Honorary Knights of Pure Blood”. Some ships crossed from Portugal to America, later Columbus received the maps for the crossing from us, his father-in-law was a Templar.

    Henry Sinclair being a norse jarl Scottish Earl would have known the route to Acadia.
    Columbus flew the Rosa cruciferon flag when he rediscovered North America and later claimed parts of for Portugal 🇵🇹

      @DidiPort 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Graham, An addition if you like.
      Yes after persecution in France by Philip the fourth the Templars ended up in Portugal also, in 1314 King Dinis the second (who was a Templar), allowed the Templars to rebrand to the Order of Christ (based in Tomar Portugal) which he had ratified by the Pope, so they were back baby.
      The Portuguese (Order of Christ), travelled known routes to snotty America which they credited to the Vikings.
      This is so ingrained the major seafood in Portugal is Bacalhau has been caught for centuries in the Newfoundland/Greenland areas dating back to the 14th century.
      The Order of Christ in Portugal led the Golden Age of Discovery under Infante Dom Henrique (Grand Master), he is Henry the Navigator!
      You mentioned Columbus, here is an Interesting one, there is a Statue in Alentejo Portugal that suggests he is Portuguese, there a very strange coincidence here, Cuba (in the West Indies) is the name of a Village in Alentejo (Columbus’s hometown) (it’s the only other place in the World called Cuba.
      You will also find the small Islands that surround Cuba (West Indies) bare Village names around Cuba Alentejo Portugal.
      Columbus had Templar/Order of Christ membership if you like and may have been a double agent (for want of a better word) for the Portuguese King at the time.
      The Templars are very much a Part of Portugal right from day dot, in 1143 the First King of Portugal King Afonso Henriques (brought up in the way of the Templars, so he was a Templar)(he was known as the Conquer, the Founder) father was part of the First Crusade and the very first Templars.
      Here is one for you, the above the Portuguese Royal Blood Line originated in France.
      There is a very well researched book by Freddie Silva “First Templar Nation” it’s about Portugals early history, there are many eye openers in this book.
      Incredible stories, fact is strangers than fiction.

    My mothers family was in britton in 1044 when the "DOOMSDAY BOOK WAS WRITTEN", some time after that they left to come to the americas, but you could not find them on a ships log, then if you fast forward to the 1300's learn of the templars coming to america and this means that columbus did not discover america, but if they did come they must have came in peace because as indigenous people you dont hear of them fighting the indians and they would have been very capable of sucess in thier intentions, the templars would have been looking for a peaceful place to migrate to and live, and it os possible there could have been some trade occuring as they visited and may have returned to England and other areas of England, if you look at the churchs to see decoration like the green men in the chapels along with corn and other things that decorate with beauty, it could be said this was possible they dod arrive and carried storable food back along with trade of what the indians had, there is evidance of thier being in the US as up north they tried to build something out of brick in a circular pattern, a round building or a place to store grain, also a rune stone and thier "R"'s are written backwards i think, it was a marker of some sort, now consider something hidden in the ground under a marked stone, i believe they made trips in secret.

    They travelled to Jerusalem which is further away than America, so l cant see why not. Its a damn shame that the church were jealous of the knights. They were only helping pilgrims on their journeys to the holy land. The French inquisition started arresting, torturing and killing the knights, and takiing all their possessions. James vi of Scotland who inherited the crown of England and became James i, had it in for the knights and the inquisition started in England and then Spain. The church saw the knights as competition and didnt like it ...😵🇬🇧

      No one said they carried a flag which they did lightly. They carried their symbol on their shields and garments over their armor. You must of not tried looking that hard

    I know this sounds strange but I've heard stories something like that around Brownsville Texas there's cities or towns or something down there that's an old town or city that has a Norwegian name and the Indians that were at one time down there talked about them so you might have another connection there I don't know how accurate my memory is on this information I'm quite sure it hasn't been fed more than once

      I'm actually from the area but have never heard of this, any way you can elaborate? It's all very interesting stuff. (Didn't expect to see Brownsville mentioned here btw lol)

      @@alexlestat I can't really remember what the story was but I know one thing there was a story about a storm and then they got in the middle of the ocean where all that trash is at no-man's-land in the middle of the ocean right there off of Florida supposedly in a sarcastic Sea and through there somehow they traveled through the Gulf of Mexico somewhere around Brownsville . There's Indian settlement or Indian tribe named after the Vikings. I had a friend st.joe that came from there but move because his father stopped working at one of the refinery

      @@alexlestat yeah the timeline when this information I knew back in the eighties when I was living in Dallas Texas. My friend Joe at the time girlfriend or wife was working at a radio station called Kzew the zoo in Dallas Texas that's if you're investigating but those are the clue at this time I'm suffering from traumatic brain injury from 2011. Thanks for TH-cam I'm starting to remember a lot of stuff and apparently I had a lot weird paranormal or whatever you want to call it crap that happened to me growing up. But that was normal with me but apparently a lot of people didn't have those happening.

      @Smoking_Phat_Blunts "the Knights Templar were once Vikings" I don't even know where to begin... Sure, I suppose that some Knights Templar may have had some distant Scandinavian roots, but to call them "once vikings" is such an unnuanced statement that it's clear that whatever historical argument I bring, you won't be convinced.

    It’s funny but the main evidence they use is the Flag but I researched this flag and it seams to discredit this part of the story since the flag was created in early 1900. It’s not like natives were flying this flag in the 1398. “ What is the origin of the Mi KMAQ flag?
    Philip Young created the Mi'kmaq flag. Philip Young was an artist who specialized in designing different things. One of his significant achievements was designing the Mi'kmaq flag, which the Natuaqanek later adopted during the 1980s. The Mi'kmaq flag was created in 1900 and was first raised in 1901.”
