We don't have a special police for trucks and buses, though the police makes random stops on the road for heavy vehicles. Vehicles in Finland have to go through official inspection every year, except for the newest vehicles. That crack is relatively small, and isn't in the drivers field of view, so it most likely isn't a reason to fail the inspection. Greetz from Finland =)

They are very strictly restricted from overloading and disregarding the rules. Finland is Finland thanks to the incessant belief in the holiness of rules ;)

Mikäpä oli kokonais aika tällä reitillä (OYS - Hailuoto) vuonna 2012? Kunhan saavat sillan valmiiksi niin lyhenee varmaan aika paljon.

Isn't it kinda dangerous to drive with such a big crack on the front windows? I mean if the special police for buses and trucks stop you for check the front window, they might stop your vehicle from the road, until you repair that windows :/

Vandwo if you can’t see the traffic because of that little crack, you shouldn’t be driving at all...
